Gather your crew and prepare for a real Oregon getaway at this dog-friendly, oceanfront Rockaway Beach home!



With a fabulous location overlooking the ocean and right next to Lake Lytle, this home is perfect for anyone who wants to spend the day outside in the water or sunshine! With nearby state parks, restaurants, shopping, and bars, everything you could want or need is close by.



This unit is actually the lower half of a larger house. The living room has incredible panoramic views of the rolling waves thanks to the large windows, and there’s plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the scenery or watch cable on the TV. There’s room for seven people to eat at the two separate dining tables, and whoever is designated as the cook can easily prepare an awesome meal in the full kitchen!



With three bedrooms in this unit, there’s room for seven guests (six adults maximum) to comfortably rest here! You're even welcome to bring up to two dogs with you, though please be aware that a nightly pet fee applies.



Keep your stuff warm and dry with the private washer/dryer, and a there’s one full bathroom to share. Out on the fabulous deck you can enjoy views of the sunset over the ocean! Don’t forget to utilize the WiFi, board games, and cable.



This home would be perfect for a family or some friends to rent out together. With close access to the beach, Lake Lytle, and the nearby state parks like Nehalem Bay and Oswald West, there’s plenty to do around here!

Rockaway getaway

The views from this home are incredible. It’s set right on the edge of the ocean with easy access to walking the shoreline. It’s an absolutely beautiful setting. The living room is large and the furniture is nice and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. All of the living spaces have an ocean view. What I did not realize is that this rental was not the entire house but rather the lower floor of the house. We were grateful that there weren’t any tenants in the upstairs unit while we were there. The bedrooms were adequate but we were surprised that only one room had a nice mattress. The others were okay but I wouldn’t say they were comfortable. As others have said, the view and setting of this place makes up for it. I would rent this place again.

Very nice. Enjoyed the excellent view! The TV was difficult to figure out. Written instructions were not helpful. But we managed. We liked the location. Not many people on the beach that far north of town .

The listing needs to say there are rocks to get down to the beach. This was not told to us until a few days before we left. I had an extremly hard time getting up and down the rocks. The windows needed to be cleaned so we could see the beautiful ocean. The BBQ was rusted and we did not feel confortable using it. The location was perfect.

We loved the location and the panoramic views of the ocean. My only complaint is that there was very little to clean up with. We had a broom but no dustpan. There were two very old vacuums that only sucked a bit. Even with keeping shoes in the hall, sand finds a way in. It would have been nice to be able to clean up better.

Lovely view

You really can’t beat the view. The floor plan is nice, bedrooms in rear of living area. The beds are not comfortable at all and the bedding and linens could use an upgrade but who cares when you have that view. 10 am check out and charging for late check out seems absurd but that is likely the booking platform.

Nice stay

Was a perfect spot on the beach. Only thing I have negative to say is there were ants in the kitchen and bathroom, as others have commented. Had to place all food in refrigerator ro keep them away. Also, those with disability and mobile issuses, the first step is steep and was hard to get up the step. Need another small step so that it isn't so steep. Railing would be helpful, also. Also, the lower level I believe advertised it as lower ground level, but had to step up three steps inside the foyer to enter the house. It looked like, in pictures, it was just the one step into the house. I was looking for a ground level entrance into the house and was a little disappointed in that there were 3 more steps in foyer to enter house. Doesn't show in pictures nor is there comments in the advertisement. Other than that, is was a perfect house with a beautiful view!

Great views of the ocean and surfs.

The kitchen was well equipped (could use a couple of more pots, got way too many frying pans and too many lids). The middle bedroom door squeaks when opening or closing. There is no AC that we could find. Had a little issue with the front door, couldn't get in. The NEW lock was extremely tight and had to call for the maintenance man to fix the front door. lock. Problem was resolved and were able to get in through the front door. There was a small problem with small ants in the cabinets and on the counters, we dealt with it. Not a bad deal, but the price was a little high for what we enjoyed. Pretty sure we won't be back, needs a little work to be brought up to the price they're asking. By the way the fridge is the loudest that we have ever heard when it is cooling (cycling), Almost made it difficult to sleep, was annoying. Need to get it checked out?

Enjoyed the stay overall, recommended.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here, we have been coming to stay on the coast in various towns and VRBOs for the past 10 years. This rental was one of the nicer ones. Updated kitchen and appliances, everything worked. Patio is very nice and the grill was brand new though we couldn't use it or the patio due to the wind. The view is amazing and we're grateful for the sun shades. Beach access is just a few steps out the back door down some big rock steps, worked perfectly fine for us and the dog. Just some FYIs and feedback. The beds weren't very comfortable, tacoed, and could feel individual springs. Found ants in all the rooms, wasn't a big deal but the place still has ant problems. There isn't anywhere to store unrefrigerated food, luckily we had a storage bin to keep our chips, snacks, etc. The place was mostly clean, but the main area rug stinks pretty bad and needs a deep cleaning. There was also a large pee spot in the room with bunk beds. Cleanliness was "surface level", you could tell things have been generally wiped down, picked up, and vacuumed, but could be better. It shouldn't have a "funk" smell when walking in for the first time. Needless to say, no deal breakers for us and we would stay here again.
