Surprise birthday weekend

This property didn’t disappoint at all. Lovely quaint house in the centre of Ripon. Owner provided car parking permits so able to park round the corner. Didn’t need the car all weekend as excellent location in the centre of Ripon, near lots of bars and restaurants. Owner left a lovely welcome back and sent all important instructions for the property on the day. Thank you Vic. We will be back xxx

Lovely location within Ripon

The host doesn't clean the property herself and has assured me the issues we had have now been addressed. The bathroom is on the top floor which isnt ideal if you have mobility issues so an additional toilet would be useful. The supplies left are a lovely gesture.

Wonderful house, amazing decor

This is a lovely house, with amazing decor throughout. The children loved the cinema room and we all enjoyed the hot tub. Centrally located with a beautiful garden car would certainly return again!

Beautiful quirky house

This was a lovely house full of character. The photos do not do justice to the place. Every home comfort you could wish for. Wonderful welcome pack. Great hot tub and jacuzzi bath. A very comfortable place to stay in a lovely location. Ripon is such a nice place. Lots of places to.eat. Booths supermarket pretty much the corner shop! Would definitely recommend.

Lovely High Spec Town House in a great location

beautifully presented and clean and tidy. the garden is a real gem. the location was perfect for us and it was great to be able to walk into Ripon. York is not far away either and we spent two full days there too! great communications from the owner and easy to connect to wifi and use streaming services on the telly etc and good instructions on the jacuzzi bath and hot tub. the welcome basket was a lovely surprise. suited our party really well we were 2 adults and a teenager.

Weekend birthday celebrations

An absolutely stunning place to stay. So near to everything. Comfortable beds, great cinema room in the basement and brilliant hottub. Only thing we found tricky was the hot water in the shower but it may be because it was at the very top of the house but didn't stop us having a great time. Totally recommend this property. Thank you 😊

A lovely stay in a lovely property. A really unique place with bags of charm and character. Both kids and adults loved it. Location is absolutely spot on, couldn’t be more central. Owners easily contactable and left a lovely surprise on arrival. Comfy beds, lovely clean hot tub, high-spec bathroom with spa bath, 2 minute walk the city centre. Can’t fault it!

Superb weekend

The house is really well situated for lots of Covid safe activities. Beautiful walks, eating and CV safe pubs. The facilities in the house provide absolutely everything you need for a fun-filled break. Hot tub and associated shower, loo and changing facilities up the garden very well thought out. Lovely well thought out garden design incorporated barbecue area, and two separate outdoor seating areas. The large dining kitchen area is a real social hub and great TV/games basement room provides yet another area which would particularly appeal to teens etc. And yet another reception room to provide a nice quiet space. The owners are excellent at responding and really keen to go the extra mile to ensure a great time in their lovely characterful property. We will definitely stay there again.

A wonderful house in a great location

We had a great few days staying in Ripon and at this wonderful house. Lovely garden with hot tub, amazing TV room downstairs. Very homely and comfortable. Vic was a fantastic host who kept in touch every step of the way. Highly recommended if you want a stop near the Dales!

A great place to stay

A lovely home in a perfect location. It has everything you need - garden, summerhouse, jacuzzi, downstairs TV room and loads more. Host Anthony was very friendly and accommodating. Some lovely touches such as fresh flowers spare toiletries in bathroom and welcome pack for the kitchen. It was very easy to walk into the centre to the restaurants, pubs and shops. Would highly recommend this house.

Well equipped & excellent location

Lovely relaxing stay. Very close to town centre. We all enjoyed the hot tub.

Greeted upon arrival by the lovely Mel. She had made us a selection of cakes, which were delicious. The house has one single bedroom and one double bedroom on the first floor. On the top floor there is a double bed with a single bunk at the top. The bathroom is also on the top floor. Fantastic spa bath....very relaxing. Another additional bonus to the property is an wooden cabin in the garden. This has a shower and toilet, and also a sofa bed. The hot tub is amazing. Big enough to fit six adults. Ripon town centre is great. The market is on a Thursday. Every evening at 9pm the ripon horn blower sets the watch. An ancient tradition which is worth a look. The ripon workhouse museum, courts and prison are also very educational. We also recommend Brimham Rocks, Fountains Abbey and a trip to York. We climbed York Minster which affords fantastic views of North Yorkshire. All in all, a wonderful stay and a wonderful host in Mel. The Froome Family x
