"Accomodation was in very good order; as presented on the VBRO-website. We found everything needed for a comfortable stay in a ‘home away from home’.Communication with owner Phil left nothing to be desired.We had a lovely time during what was a first visit to the Dales. Newbiggin is a lovely little village for those who seek peace and quiet in the countryside. "The house is very convenient for walking to the many attractions of York city centre. It was clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom and a good shower. Communcation with the host was excellent. We would certainly recommend!"

"We had a great stay in this property. It is clean, well equipped and in a really handy location with the train station close by and a nice couple of wee pubs up the road. the house itself has a modern kitchen and main bathroom as well as another bathroom on the top ( 3rd Floor ). Bedrooms have good space and are clean and well maintained. It is an older terraced property over three floors and with the bedrooms and bathrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor, it might not suit those with mobility issues,...

"We loved the house, clean, spacious and well equipped. Also loved the location, Helmsley is a lovely town and there are many attractions nearby."

"It was perfect, the pale coloured carpet was a bit of a pain we had to leave shoes and slippers down in the hall which was not convenient and also no clocks anywhere. Parking was easy and handy, and the situation of the property was lovely right by the river and a very short walk into Otley. Overall the property is great."

"The location is ideal for visiting Harrogate, only a short walk into the city. We were at a conference in Harrogate so were out all day but retuning to this house was perfect. We loved the hotel touches such as fresh clean towels and toiletries! The interior was styled so lovely and bright, and it was great to have a supply of tea and coffee in the cupboard for when we arrived. The treats were a nice touch and so grateful for the peace and quiet as well as the free parking. Lots of nearby walks,...

"The location and park is beautiful with very nice views of the dales. The accommodation is well equipped, clean and modern. The hot tub was great for relaxing in after a long walk. Owner are very nice and helpful, I would recommend this property and hope to stay again."
