This is not what I expected - I thought I was staying in a two star hotel before I arrived in town. Everything was 5-6 star luxury. This wasn't a studio with a bed and kitchenette, it had a full kitchen with pots, flatware, plates, bowls, mugs, and wine glasses. It has a large bathroom, 160 sq ft bedroom. A TV is the large living room and one in the bedroom. A walk in closet and washer/dryer. And two gift baskets. Conveniently, nearby is a CVS store on the corner which has coffee filters, foo foo coffee and almost anything you need. Lots of restaurants - my favorites are Sweetgreens and Community Canteen. You are in the heart of downtown Reston Town Center. Just down the road are both Whole Foods Market and Trader Joes, as well as a Safeway. Reston people reminded me of the Stepford Wives/Children movies. A block away you can catch a Fairfax County Transit bus and transfer to the Metro, a train which will take you to the Capitol, and a local bus that will take you and your luggage to Dulles International Airport (IAD) for less than 2 bucks.
I highly recommend Bridgestreet Hospitality and the Avant at Reston Town Center. I came on business but may return for pleasure. There is a bicycle trail that is about 50 miles long along an old railway corridor a block away. It will take me to the Capitol.
Vantagens: see above
Desvantagens: Be sure the windows are closed if it is cold outside - average during my stay was low 20's at night.
