"This stay at sisters was exactly what we were looking for to accommodate our family and dogs. The location is perfect for walking to either side of town and you can access the beach just at the end of the road. So nice! We loved having a fenced yard for the dogs. "We loved staying at Heron's Hideaway! The cabin was perfect for three adults and our water-loving dog. We paddled around the lake in the canoes and kayaks, swam off the floating dock, watched birds, read books on the sunny deck overlooking the lake, cooked in the well-equipped kitchen (love a rental that comes with a salad spinner!), played cards, and did a 500 piece puzzle. Only complaint was there’s less than 10mins of hot water for showers and the shower door magnet didn’t latch so water got all over the floor and toilet. Other than that the place was great! "The cabin was cozy, we loved the tv room with the fireplace heater. The bathroom was quite small and there was nothing private about the hot tub. We could see in the windows of neighbors which meant they can see us as well. We will stay at the resort again just not that cabin."
