"While this property was built in 1939 and therefore are smaller rooms, it has retained the lovely charm of its day and incorporated modern amenities. It is well-maintained and clean. Breakfast was good and the staff was attentive to the area. While the dunes prevent a view of the ocean, it is just a short walk to the beach. It is close to the Wright Brothers National Memorial and Monument, which was our primary reason for our stay."

"We really enjoyed our stay! The oceanfront view was amazing and definitely a highlight. Although the property is older, it is very well maintained and clean. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the ocean. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Our room was on the 4th floor and had a strong smell of mildew. The upper floor was rented and every step they took you could hear. You had to slam the outside door to get it to close. The location was excellent. Other than that we enjoyed it."

"Very clean. All the amenities one might need and having a kitchenette was helpful. I have mobility issues and everyone on the staff was incredibly helpful. There are a couple tips I would like to leave. For others with mobility issues, the trek to the beach was arduous. I found easy access to the beach on 3rd Street in Emerald Isle which is not far away. There’s parking, a ramp, and a very short walk with no steps. And for the owners of Beacon, I would suggest leaving instructions for the air...
