"The pool closed and never reopened."

"My husband and I have stayed here 3 times. Each one was a great experience. We used both the indoor and outdoor pools. It’s also close to our son’s and the restaurants where we like to eat. Love that breakfast is included. Beds are very comfortable and they have a good sized TV. The beach was not too crowded either."

One thing to know before visiting is that dogs are not allowed on the beach in Kill Devil Hills from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the summer. That’s a town rule, not the hotel’s policy, but it’s helpful to know. The hotel is cute, newly renovated, and has accessible first floor rooms. Otherwise, there are only stairs. "Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I didn’t like being wakened up every morning at 9am by housekeepers trying to get in the room. I wish they were aware that I was staying for a week and that I would inform the front desk if I needed anything ahead of time. Overall my stay was pretty good."
