"We stayed at the Big Bear Motel on our way to Yellowstone. This motel is a gem in the rough. It was not like your big hotel chains as you had the feeling of being in a western setting. The views from this location were breathtaking. It is a 1 minute drive to the Cody Wyoming rodeo which is a must. In the evening they have horse drawn carriage rides for free which was very enjoyable. The outdoor pool was very clean and the views from the pool were amazing. The rooms were a bit outdated...

"The ranch was a unique experience. The view of the valley was wonderful and as a bird watcher I enjoyed wandering the hillside and finding some great birds. The room was large but we were surprised not to find a TV. As seniors we didn't ride horses but they were a wonderful edition to the place. If you are looking for suggestions, it would be the dinner hour where better service should be provided. No one really introduced themselves or told us that we had to get the menus ourselves and...
