"Had a beautiful and restful few days at "The Cottage." The full property is very private and the salt water pool made it feel like an oasis. There were lots of pool rafts to use which made the pool even better. The full property is very well maintained and the cottage was very clean, nicely decorated, and cozy. Has everything you need for grilling and chilling but also some fun on site activites. Wonderful stay and many thanks to our hosts and their cool dogs! The host Brian was very friendly...

"The Plainfield Cottage is a perfect getaway. We came in for a graduation and were quite busy. However, each time I stepped into the cottage, it felt peaceful, bright and clean. A great retreat to unwind and relax at. Cathy was very attentive on any needs we needed, as there were few because it was well stocked."

"Nice quaint house - clean and conveniently located. Hosts were very responsive. Only concern was upstairs rooms don’t cool well with A/C but fans were a huge help. Beds are comfy and everyone enjoyed their stay."

"Michael was an excellent host. Property was clean and equipped as promised. Complete with Keurig and K-cups! Very quiet community, close to the places that we needed to go. High Bridge Trail is nearby, Three Rivers Brewery in Farmville. Nice selection of local houses of worship in the area. Would definitely recommend"

"This was one of the nicest VRBO's that we have stayed in! Everything about it was wonderful. It was clean, well-appointed, bed was extremely comfortable, communication with the owner was great, and the location was lovely... just a short drive from Monticello, downtown Charlottesville, UVA, and the Blue Ridge Skyline Drive is about 30 minutes away. There are also great restaurants close by. I would highly recommend this property!"
