One air conditioning window unit in living/kitchen area with ceiling fans in both bedrooms. Weather was not hot and humid during our visit so this was not an issue. "I booked my stay to get away from the city for some R&R. It being my first trip to the Catskills, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised from the moment I arrived. The cottage was exactly as described. The decor is very welcoming and warm. The record player was a gem! The kitchen was perfectly stocked, the bed so comfortable, and the linens pristine. "We enjoyed our 5 night stay. The unit was clean and comfortable. As others may have mentioned, there is some noise from the nearby train track and bars, but that didn’t bother us much. We really appreciated the noise cancelling machine that was provided. One suggestion for improvement would be to make it explicit to guests that the backyard (incl. grill & hot tub) are shared between the upstairs and downstairs units. "Beautiful lakeside getaway, cozy studio with cottage vibe, lovely quiet non-motorboat lake. Lots of good restaurants in Red Hook and Rhinebeck, roadside farm stands everywhere. Owners very nice, responsive but not intrusive. Highly recommended."

"Very nice, small apartment. Very clean and comfortable. There was no cross ventilation, but the AC worked fine. Great place for a night or two and conveniently located near wedding venues. I would have liked to know in advance that the street number was not on the mailbox on the road, but figured it out. Probably best to ask for a landmark. We would definitely stay again if in the area."

"This house was a little piece of heaven tucked away on the Esopus Creek. The house provided 2 paddleboards and 2 kayaks, all of which we used.At first glance, the creek is not very inviting because of the algae, but when you get to the middle of the creek, it is very clear.There is also a hot tub, ping pong table and lots of games.The house was nicely decorated and plenty of room for 10 of us.
