"This was our 2nd time staying at the Blue Beach house. It is in high demand and we were excited to get a spot! It did not disappoint! Everything was clean and welcoming, with nothing left to want for. The king size bed is comfy! The best thing about this house is the deck and the view... Kristen is agreat host and responds to questions quickly. The fenced in, dog friendly yard is a plus! We are always sad to leave but can't wait until next time!"

"Simple, clean with everything we needed in the kitchen. We had our dog, and there is really nothing a dog could ruin, which was perfect. We used the firepit in the pretty backyard. The beach was maybe 3 minutes by foot down the street. Now, if you want fancy stuff and major streaming services, etc., this wont be you place, but if you want big sky and back to basics it's a great spot. "Town"(Westport?) is about 6 miles down the road. "

"We had a wonderful time with friends. It was a short drive to every place we wanted to go. Jack's Mercantile was amazing and we enjoyed the Cranberry Museum. Being elderly, next time we'll get a two bathroom place. The door lock was a challenge at times. We were able to relax and I didn't do any yard work which needed attention."

"We had a great stay at the Happy as a clam cottages. The cottage was very nice and clean. Being able to eat a few meals in using the full kitchen, BBQ was a plus. The location was perfect for our interests (it is very close to 2 very fine oyster farms/restaurants, several state parks, and a short drive to both the bay and oceanside of the peninsula. We would highly recommend."

"Wow! What a beautiful, clean and comfortable stay in Octopus Lair!!! Our family absolutely loved all the details in the house and appreciated the comfortable beds. It was nice that so much was provided for use in the kitchen: coffee, pods as well, sugars and powder creamer. All the ziploc bags and foil and wrap to store leftovers was so nice. The area was great and the house provided lots of entertainment. Thank you so much for letting us use your beautiful home "

"I loved how my dogs could roam the yard due do it being fenced! It felt homey and comfortable. It had everything we needed and owner answered my questions very quickly. Only thing I wished for is a four person sized table and chairs so we could have had the room to play cards or board games, and a little more room to eat. We’ll bring our folding card table and chairs along next visit. We’ll be back for sure!"

"My family and i really enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable. The fully fenced yard was really nice since we bought our dogs. The view of the canal was so nice and peaceful sitting out on the deck. Lots of deer. Definitely a house we will try to go back to."

"This is such an incredible property! Everything about it is perfect. We stayed for a week for my parents 50th anniversary. It was a perfect size with room to spare. The living room, kitchen, and dining room were all so open and we felt like we were together no matter the room we were in. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. "We enjoyed our stay here immensely! The cottage is cozy, comfortable and very clean! A comfortable bed and we found that despite being close to the highway, it was quiet. While small, it offers almost everything one could want in a beach stay. A well equipped kitchen and dishware for meals in. We especially liked the back porch and comfortable rockers overlooking the back yard. The fenced side yard and dog door were ideal for our girl to come in and out. She enjoyed sitting on the porch...
