Well-appointed and comfortable cabin in a beautiful, peaceful setting. It accommodated our group of five friends beautifully and was centrally located to all the sights we wanted to see. We really wanted to go horseback riding with J & F Tails & Trails (right by the cabin) but ran out of time. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you to our host Mandy for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful setting with a wonderful house in the country with horses and beautiful landscape. Our only compliant was not having very good internet service - other than that - perfect!

Great place secluded I was on my Harley even though the road us gravel we had very little trouble getting in and out. The owners are great and the room was awesome. We had the bigger unit the beds are amazing and a really hot shower. Washer and dryer everything was great would definitely stay here again

We enjoyed our stay on our way home from visiting Yellowstone and Mount Rushmore. The cabin was in a nice quiet area away from the crowds. We enjoyed watching the horses, deer and rabbits from the patio. The cabin was clean and comfortable and the snack basket provided a was a nice addition from the owners.

Excellent host and rental

We loved staying at Ghost Canyon Getaway! Our host, Mandy, was the best- great communication and super kind (she spent an hour of her time one morning helping us get our keys out of the locked rental car). The rental was clean and well stocked. The beds were super comfortable (the kids and my husband all said it was the best sleep we had on our trip). The location is perfect for visiting all around Black Hills. If we ever travel to South Dakota again, we will definitely stay here again!

Ghost Canyon - a cute, cozy getaway

Our family loved our stay at Ghost Canyon Getaway! The location is so perfect! It’s not too far from Rapid City and is really close to Custer State Park. We loved seeing all the stars at night and the horses running across the field in the morning! The cabin was clean and cozy! There were 6 of us and everyone had plenty of space! We loved that there are 2 bathrooms! When we arrived, we were surprised it was a twin home. We thought it was a single-family home. But it wasn’t really a problem. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area!

Perfect location

What a great spot to stay. Centrally located in the region that can sleep plenty and so many amenities. The host was very easy to communicate with and the property was amazing. What a list of amenities….fire pit, volley ball, corn hole, the list keeps going. Located just about in the middle between Rapid City and Mt. Rushmore. We had such a blast and would love to stay here again.

The property was just what we expected. Beautiful and so inviting. The owners, Mandy and Jane, were so accommodating, and even gave us marshmallows and new marshmallow sticks to have for when we had a fire. They provided so many amenities that came in so handy. If we get back out to South Dakota, we'll definitely try to stay there again. Thanks so much for a wonderful week.

Awesome

Mandy was great. I had some meds delivered before I could get there and she received them and took care of them until I got there. The unit we stayed in was beautiful and the wildlife in the yard was great. Will definitely recommend.

Beautiful countryside!

This is a very cute rustic cabin. It was well stocked and very clean. My kids loved the basketball hoop outback. It was fun to have an area they could just go hang out. It’s a perfect distance from the state parks and Mount Rushmore. Thank you very much. We enjoyed our stay.

Clean and convenient ranch

Place was quiet and clean and convenient to Custer State Park. Lots of deer, turkeys, etc around the property and Forest Service trails are just across the road. Be aware this is not a separate cabin, it is a unit in a building of three units so you will likely have neighbors. That was not at all clear from the online listing. Fortunately it was not a big issue during our trip, but it could be if neighbors are loud or have lots of kids.

Loved it. Great location for Mt Rushmore and the Badlands. We so enjoyed watching the horses 🐎 running to the barn in the morning. Cabin number 1 was clean, cozy and full of amenities. Our only regret was staying only for an overnight.

Amazing place!

I have stayed at 3 different cabins around Mt. Rushmore on 3 different trips. This is the best place that I have stayed at. The hosts are really friendly, and live near by. The kitchen overlooks a pasture with horses. The property is clean. Loved this place.

Countryside refined

The house had two nice sized bedrooms that easily accommodated our family of five. The bathrooms were clean with great towels (not the thin hotel kind). Loved having a washer/dryer on site and the kitchen had everything we needed. Was grateful for good wifi as the property was remote and we had no access to mobile data. We were just a few miles from Custer State park. The property has lots of horses nearby and we saw lots of deer. Nice firepit area and gas grill came in handy.

Incredible Stay

Gorgeous. Woke to deer grazing in front yard. Awesome family experience. Clean, conveniently located, enough sleeping space for whole family. Highly suggest.
