This lovely home has been completely renovated top to bottom, a keen eye for design and attention to details has transformed this former cottage into a special coastal retreat.
The house has dual mini splits Heat/AC systems for comfortable climate control during any time of year. Of course there is always fabulous ocean breezes in the summer!

This waterfront property has direct water access to the Sakonnet River, which is a salt water bay that leads to the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, boating, sailing, or other water sports, 2 kayaks with life jackets are provided for use during your stay. The local beach is walking distance from the house and beach chairs, wagon and small cooler are provided with rental.
The spacious exterior deck is the perfect spot to take in the breath taking views and soak up the sun. There’s an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach.

The open concept living space offers spectacular panoramic views to enjoy at any time of day. The modern farmhouse coastal decor provides a relaxed atmosphere where you can put your feet up (yes, on the coffee table!), enjoy a cup of coffee/tea or glass of wine in the evening. On cooler nights, put on the gas fireplace to make it more cozy to curl up with a book or watch a movie on the large screen TV.

The living room also features a tucked away built-in desk with seating for 2 people in the event you need to set up a computer during your stay, the high speed internet (300 MBps) allows for easy connectivity. There’s plenty of work space to spread out your equipment, with extra outlets.

The well equipped kitchen has modern full size stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, a big farmhouse sink and the neccessary utensils to prepare any meals at home.
The boutique beverage cooler can keep your beer, wine and soft drinks cold without taking up room in the fridge. The large farmhouse style table can comfortably accommodate 6+ people and has a butterfly leaf to expand for 8 persons, if hosting friend’s for a meal.

There is also full size Washer/Dryer and plenty of storage for food in the panty next to the kitchen tasteful hidden behind a barn door.

The “Master suite” on the 2nd floor offers a queen bed on the ocean side to listen to the waves while you fall asleep. The additional sitting room has 2 comfortable recliners and large TV with soundbar. The spacious bathroom has a very large walk in shower and plenty of storage for towels and toiletries.

All of the bedrooms offer plenty of storage with dressers and ample closet space.
All bed linens, towels (bath, kitchen and beach) are included for your stay.

Conveniently located on Aquidneck Island, Portsmouth allows easy access to major routes for day tripping excursions. Newport is a short 20 min drive and other local seaside communities. Bristol, is a quick 15 minute drive over the historic Mt Hope Bridge, home to Roger Williams University and the country’s oldest 4th of July celebration! Other local attractions, such a Newport Vineyards, Newport Mansions, Polo matches on Saturdays, Newport Jazz Festival, experience the rich history of Providence. Several local golf courses and of course the fabulous beaches are all close by! There are many fabulous restaurants to choose from offering the farm to table cuisine. Despite Rhode Island being the smallest state, there’s always lots to do! Come enjoy all Little Rhody has to offer!
