This home has everything needed to keep even the pickiest of travelers happy.

The Space:
This stunning home is located on one of Vancouver's most sought-after streets, filled with mid-century-built homes, and is a mere 8 miles from Portland, and just a short jaunt to the river, too. Beautifully and richly decorated with plenty of space to lounge and loads of fun things to do within, this is the perfect home for groups of families and/or friends, or those who prefer a bit more space during their vacations.

Fancy some river time? There's plenty of parking for a boat at this home, and the public boat launch, Marine Park, is only five miles away!

Need a little space from the kids? No problem. This home has two full levels, with more than enough entertainment to keep the kids busy downstairs, while the adults sip champagne upstairs. Feeling stressed out? Check out the brand new saltwater hot tub, which is a healthy and therapeutic way to unwind. This home will keep you sane!

Looking to take a trip to Portland? We love it! And it's easy to get onto the road to PDX from this home, and you'll be in the city in a mere eight minutes. Plus, we are so close to the airport that you'll be able to take a bit more time packing on your departure day, too. We are perfectly located!

IMPORTANT: An ADU is currently under construction on-site. Though this structure is completely separated from the main house, there is potential for noise. The inconvenience should be minimal but the home has been lowered in price for the inconvenience from 2/21/25-5/21/25. Please inquire if there are additional questions about this work.

Guest Access:
Our guests will have access to everything in the house, including the game room and outdoor spaces; we want this to feel like your home away from home.

The Neighborhood:
The Father Blanchet Park Neighborhood is perched on a hill that looks down and south across the Columbia River to Portland and its international airport. The neighborhood has easy access to state Highway 14 and Interstates 5 and 205 and is a very short trip to the airport and other Portland destinations.

This home also sits just 5 miles from the local boat launch, Marine Park, and with ample parking for boats at the house, we look forward to you floating, boating and picnic-ing during your stay with us!

The neighborhood is almost entirely residential and full of beautiful, classic homes, most built during the coveted mid-century. It is a well established neighborhood with large lots and homes with character. Many neighbors have lived in the neighborhood since their homes were built, and as a result, has a very friendly, neighborly vibe.

-- You'll want to bring a car to get around while staying at this home.
-- There is plenty of parking for up to six cars at this home.
-- There is enough driveway space for a boat at this home.
-- Please do not park in the street. You will be towed!

-- IMPORTANT: Please note there is an ADU on the property but not attached to the home that is occupied occasionally by family. It has its own separate entrance and should not impact guest stays.

To offset the inconvenience, we have lowered our rates during this period. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you.

-- Please note: This home has a 4 night and 4 guest minimum on all holidays/festivals and 3 night minimums on weekends May - September. We also do not allow the weekends to be broken up. We do make rare exceptions, you are more than welcome to reach out and check with us!

--IMPORTANT: Please note that on all bookings on platforms other than Airbnb there is a deposit of up to $1000.(Please inquire for the exact ammount) This is to cover any potential damages to the home or property. Deposits will be refunded the day following the day of check out minus the cost of any damages. Guests will be notified of any damages and documentation for any deductions will be provided. This will be processed as a separate payment but can be made with the same payment method or a different payment method based off guest choice. Please be aware that if you do chose a different payment method you will need to provide the payment details.


-- IMPORTANT: Smoking of any kind indoors is strictly prohibited and will result in a $500 fine and additional action up to eviction.

-- As required by the city for permit requirement of the rental, the following information are required for all guests whose reservations will be accepted:

5) License plate number if bringing a car (please provide on the day of check in if renting a vehicle)

-- The main floor of this home is wheelchair accessible, and has bedrooms, bathrooms, the upper living room, kitchen and outdoor space. Please note it's not ADA approved, but is accessible.

-- There is plenty of parking for up to six cars at this home.

-- There is enough driveway space for a boat at this home.

-- Please note we accept up to 2 small, well-behaved dogs (25 lbs or less) $50 per pet per stay up to 20 days. Stays of 21+ days or more the dog fee is $200. Please inquire about any other types of animal companions. PLEASE NOTE THE DOG FEE IS TO BE CHARGED AFTER BOOKING

-- We do have an additional guest fee of $25 per guest per night, after the first 2 guests.

--The homeowners have hired a professional management company. Do not be alarmed if someone other than the home owners responds to your query - we are here to help!
--We respect our guests' right to privacy and will stay completely out of your hair, if that's what you like. However, we also LOVE to share a beer with our guests, and will happily join you for a cold one, too! You call all the shots. :)

Great Stay at Middle House

We had a wonderful stay at Middle House. We had plenty of space for our party of 4 and enjoyed the game room and outdoor patio as well as the remodeled kitchen and living room. The pantry was very well-stocked and we appreciated the pride in ownership highlighted in the guest book. Will gladly return!

Comfortable and Relaxing

We stayed here for a long weekend while our home was having some repairs done. It was fun to be in the local area but still feel like we were on vacation. The home is exactly as described and has a lot of charm. The layout is great and provides privacy if traveling with other couples, especially with the basement setup. Beds and linens were comfortable. I'm not a big hot tub person but let me tell you, this one is awesome. Loved the jets and no strong chemical smell from the water. There are not a lot of extra towels. Neighborhood bonus: There is a Dairy Queen at the end of the street to the north and amazing views acoss the river if you walk up a couple houses. Wonderful, spacious and serene

Great stay at this wonderful property. So many amenities and all at a reasonably priced stay. Great communication throughout with Natalie (very responsive and super friendly) and had zero issues. Highly recommended for those looking for a great space to stay with groups and entertain.
