Family vacation

Location is amazing. House not so much. House uses septic system. If u have kids, BE SURE to watch them closely and make sure ALL sand is off before the shower. Otherwise toilet backs up into shower. No pressure in showers. Whatever knick knacks are in there, document what is broken or u will be blamed. The screen door to porch must be propped open or u will be locked out. The lock to main house doesnā€™t work. There are others houses that work better for a family. This one does not. We will be back. Just not here.

Our own Sand Castle

This was our family vacation. 10 of us & we had a fabulous stay!! The house was beautiful, inside & out!! It has everything you need! Located on the beautiful white sandy beach of Cape San Blas. We enjoyed meeting Phil & Carol, who were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Great host! We highly recommend this beautiful property!!!

Location cannot be beat, outstanding beach

We had the best time! Being able to step off the porch directly onto the beach was a game changer. The beach was so clean and sparsely populatedā€” so relaxing, and a nice contrast to some of the more over populated spots on the coast. We rented beach chairs and shades from a company nearby but probably didnā€™t need to as there were some extra Adirondack chairs we probably could have carried down to the beach for the few days we were there. Restaurants nearby were few and far between but if you plan ahead on groceries youā€™ll be fine. Weather called for rain during our whole trip but it ended up being super little stints and was actually really nice to watch from the porch! The beds were super comfortable and carol was repainted with questions we had leading up to the trip. I would come back!

Spring Break Trip with teenagers

Great house and location! Owner was very responsive. The teenagers loved having use of the kayaks. Overall we were very happy with our stay. For awareness for future renters: - There are two small grills versus one large grill - Bring bottled water. Fridge does not have filtered water.

Just steps to the beach

We had the best time. Literally steps away from the water. The house was clean and smelled good. I wish the pictures of the bottom bedroom/ outdoor patio had been listed together. I would definitely rent again.

Great Beach House

This beach house was perfect for our fall family vacation. It had a wide open floor plan to accommodate our large group and a well stocked kitchen. The biggest plus for us was you can't get much closer to the beach which was huge with 6 grand kids under 10 yrs old. The property managers Phil and Carol are awesome to work with and we will definitely be back again soon!

Girls Trip

Great location, house, and owners. We enjoyed the beach atmosphere and convenience to beach by the public beach access. Double red flags so didnā€™t get in ocean but weā€™re not swimmers anyway. Not a lot of restaurants/grocery options but perfect for cooking and lots of kitchen supplies. Would stay again!

This was the perfect place for our family of 7 adults to gather for a quick vacation. We are NOT a beach family and have never chosen to have a family beach trip. However, we had limited time and wanted somewhere we could vacation that was close to our home in Alabama while we had everyone in town for a few days. Cape San Blas was highly recommended to us so we took a chance. This beautiful home has converted us to a beach family and everyone wants to come back again next year! The home was immaculately clean and the beds were some of the best weā€™ve had at rental homes. The location was amazing- quiet, convenient to anything we needed and right on the water. The owners were so easy to work with and extremely responsive. We rent a lot of vacation homes and this was by far one of the very best ever. Thank you for giving us a place to build some family memories.

Great spring break getaway

This was our first time in cape san blas and wonā€™t be our last! We loved the location of this house right on the beach and near the few shops and restaurants on the cape. We were a bit surprised on checkin that the bedroom with the twin beds is in the basement are not accessible from inside the houseā€¦ our kids were young teens so not a huge deal but we had a bad storm late one night and they were texting nervous (the whole house shook from the thunder!) but it was raining so hard they didnā€™t want to go outside to get to their parents. Just something to note if you have younger kids that may need parents in the night. It may have been noted in the listing and I just overlooked. We would rent this property again - it worked great for our needs! Thanks for letting us enjoy your fabulous home!

Family Summer Stay 2023

We had the best possible time reuniting our family and brining back our yearly vacation at CSB. We have stayed at this property for 14+ years under different owners but Carol and Phil have done outstanding renovations and were incredible hosts. This was by far our best beach vacation yet! The house is amazing! Very clean (which is hard to find) and just a few short steps to sink your feet right in the sand! The house was perfect for my parents (very few stairs in house/to beach!) We will definitely be coming back!

AMAZING!!!!

We had never been to Cape San Blas before, but I can promise we will be back. And we will be staying at this exact house every time. First, the owners are incredible to work with.....very fast response time on emails. We reached out to them about an issue with the house we noticed, and they came out to look at it even though they had already been aware of it. And they brought us smores supplies one day as well. Just very thoughtful on their part. We had 8 guests, and it was just right for us. Most everyone had their own room, and if we needed a break from each other, we could take some time to ourselves in our room. :) The kitchen was very well stocked, but the only thing I couldn't find was a pizza cutter. There could have been one that I overlooked. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is that one of the bathroom sinks did not have good water pressure. But the shower did. The beds were SOOOO comfortable...we all slept like babies. Our favorite part of the house was the bar on the bottom level. It garnered a lot of attention from all the people passing by...they would all holler out asking how much we charged for margaritas! :) We can't wait to go back the next time! Thank you Carol and Phil!
