Pros: The house was as pictured; there was a thermostat in every room, and there were hungry crabs in the river. Cons: The owners will contact you via email and phone more than the normal owner at a guesthouse. Be sure to check your emails regularly. They expect a prompt response. Besides the previous texts and calls, I was sent a message to text them an hour before I arrived and then call them when I arrived. On the departure day, I started receiving texts at 8am and calls at 9am to remind me to depart before 11am and leave the house as I found it. This brings me to the 2 pages of rules in the home not listed on vrbo. The door code didn't work the next day, I contacted the owner to let them know. This led to ranting texts and finger-pointing for over an hour before another pin was sent with more finger-pointing. This led me to keep quiet about anything else, like the refrigerator not having ice, being warm, and the Florida room's almost unbearable smell. Plus the numerous cameras…
