My room was a little on the small side but overall clean and quiet. Bed was a memory foam and I personally do not like them, but overall it was good. A bit away from the main area so not much within walking distance. Would recommend, especially for the price.

Get what you pay for. Remodel was just new floors and paint. Super noisy. Lobby was full of cigarette smoke from the host. He was not friendly. Literally grunted at me.

We have updated quite a bit more than just the paint and floors, we are sorry you could not tell. We are always working on the soundproofing. As for the the person in the lobby, we are so terribly sorry to hear about that. We will definitely deal with this issue right away.

Arrived at 3 for Checkin. Couldn't find anyone, left and came back at 4. Very pleasant staff, rooms top notch. Area a little sketch, but full hd camera coverage sufficed for a night. Great experience all around.

The rooms had been renovated and were great inside. This was the first mattress that I tried to sleep on that was too firm for me. The outside of the motel reflects the era in which it was built- 1950-60s. The room interiors were a nice surprise though.

The exterior is pretty dingy and the lobby reeks of cigarette smoke. The rooms themselves were a pleasant surprise— nicely renovated and clean with everything you need. The bed was comfy. The walls were paper thin— you could hear the people walking outside your room and the street noise is incredibly loud. That being said, the location is convenient. Close to the ferry and you’re able to walk to amenities easily. It’s not in the nicest part of town but it didn’t feel sketchy. All in all, our stay was fine but I probably wouldn’t return.

We do our best to provide a clean and comfortable stay for our guests. As for the noise, we are constantly trying to find new and better ways to deal with it. We will look into the issue of the lobby smelling smoky immediately, thank you for bringing it to our attention. Sadly, the area around has fallen, but we try to provide a little oasis in the area. We are hoping to upgrade the outside soon, to match the upgrades to the rooms. We understand why you do not want to come back, but we hope one day, you decide to give us another chance. So we can make it right.

Seems to be a rough area, folks hanging out in the alley behind the motel. I know it's not the motels responsibility to police the ally and block, but I must say I had to think twice about walking around the neighborhood after dark.

Visiting in the off-season, this motel is such a good price for what it offers. My room appeared recently updated and was nice and clean. The bed was VERY comfortable. Simple and clean accommodations.

The exterior of the hotel looks old and dated but our room had apparently just been fully remodeled. Everything (bathroom, furniture, appliances, walls,....) looked brand new and modern. Located on busy street that enters town from the east but traffic was not noticeable at night. A great value and we will be back.

Our experience was just as hoped for. It is a clean, affordable, convenient and safe motel. We were very happy to stay there on our way to Vancouver Island ferries for the early morning sailing. If you expect clean and efficient motel rooms, you will be happy with your stay.

Port Angles Gem!
Older Hotel but room was completely redone! Never before hav I seen this Quality of construction in a hotel! Everything was new even had custom made tables made from timber and varnished and decorated room tastefully.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff, affordable, very helpful when needed. Port Angeles itself leaves much to be desired. I used it as a base cape to see the ocean. If I ever want to stay in Port Angeles again I will stay at this motel. My kind of place

Nice touch
The room was awesome. The bed was nice and firm the tables were modern and the mini fridge look like an old school fridge with lever handles very classic the bathroom was in great shape everything was wonderful about it and very clean I would definitely stay there again

This motel looks like your standard, run-of-the-mill motel from the outside, but our room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The room had laminate (hardwood) floors, which is easier to clean, and I think that helps the staff keep the room clean. If we ever make it back to Port Angeles, we will stay here again. Thanks!!
