"Amazing location with beautiful people. Snorkelling is awesome with beautiful corals and vast variety of fish. Almost like camping even with the rain, but we were dry and comfortable inside the fale. Dinner and breakfast was plentiful traditional island food with some modern additions. Make sure you bring cash to pay for your stay as the nearest eftpos in an hour away"

"Pros: This is our first time staying at a lodge like this, so close to nature, just like camping. You will hear coqui frog whole night & seeing them jumping next to your door step. Animals free roaming, peacocks, ducks, chicken. Kids loved it. Cons: There is barely any light at night in the Property…so if you come back late, it’s a bit challenging to find your cabin."

"I've travelled a lot over the last 4 decades and Kona Palace has the best view of any property I've stayed in. It is cozy and secluded and it was amazing just to sit on the patio and watch the sun come up from the side of a mountain! The surrounding foliage is beautiful and the accomodations are comfortable. The cherry on top was finding we had a hot tub!"

"We truly enjoyed our stay at Volcano Ranch. It is super convenient to Volano Park, but also a gem unto itself. The animals are delightful and our room overlooking the pond was super warm and cozy on a cool, rainy day. Every detail has been considered to make your stay here as comfortable as possible. Would definitely stay again should we ever be in the area!"

"We stayed here on 12/31/25 and were absolutely blown away by the experience. The views were incredible, and being able to watch fireworks light up the island from the property was truly unforgettable. The upper observation deck was a highlight. It was perfect for stargazing and taking in the peaceful surroundings.The host couple was incredibly kind and welcoming, and Steve was especially responsive and helpful in all communications leading up to our stay. Everything about the experience exceeded...
