"This is a great airport stay-over. It’s minimalistic but clean and has AC. Heads up for the two flights of stairs if you have heavy luggage and this place also can be a bit loud due to the motorcyclists zooming by outside. Overall I would stay here again for the price and convenience of the market next door as well as the close proximity to the airport. "

"My wife and I stayed there for 11 nights and loved this place. Karla was a great host, very responsive, attentive to details, and quick in communication. The house had everything we needed, and even more - from full kitchen, extra pillows and blankets, to beach chairs and a cooler, snorkeling gear, and even yoga mats! "The location was beautiful easy to access the instructions. While unique we’re fairly accurate and easy to follow. This property was definitely a place where you can go disconnect and unwind. I would exercise caution in booking your rental vehicle as there are limitations to the size of rental vehicle that will fit in the carport of the property."

"We were in Hawaii for 2 weeks, and stayed at several hotels, and the Plumeria Hilo Hotel had the best room by far because ut was more like an apartment than just a hotel room. There was a fridge, micorwave, hot plate, dishes, etc. A bit a road noise, but the beach was close by."
