Pros: 1. Price is great for the location. Right smack in downtown and a ton of eating options as well as the subway right around the corner.
2. Tons of amenities. Upon entering my room I was greeted with a stocked kitchen, a stocked bathroom, and clean dishes as well as sheets and towels for my room. There was also a washer and dryer as well that I never used. The bathroom was well lit and had a Jacuzzi tub as well as a tv.
Cons: 1. Communication could use some work. I had absolutely no idea where to enter the hotel from and when I had gotten to what I presumed was the door, it was locked. I had to call the front desk and a man opened the door for me.
2. I was told I could park in the parking garage across from the building, but considering I couldn't find the building, I definitely didn't find a parking garage. There are many scattered throughout the area though, so I ended up using one that was close by.
The main problem about this place is that it's advertised as a hotel but it's actually just renting out an apartment. This is strange because the only place affiliated with Global Luxury Suites as far as I know is the 12th floor. Not even the front desk. The rest of the floors and the lobby is maintained by people who are renovating the Kaufmann apartments. If you're a patient person and can figure things out, I would recommend this place. If you're impatient and quick to anger I would make sure you know exactly where you're going and exactly what to do.
