"Beautiful rooms, I've never seen so many light switches and sockets to plug into ! let down by poor maintenance on the bathroom doors, which didn't close due to not fitting in the frame by a few cm! Maybe they were just being installed, but not great when you can't close the door. We had a very fancy fan, but would be cautious booking without air-con in the hotter times. Breakfast was good ! proper bread, and a chef who can cook eggs without them being snotty or hard boiled ! Room had...

"The condition of the room was dreadful. Tatty, tired, worn, scruffy, grim - not somewhere you would want to spend time and definitely not priced to reflect this. We would have been disappointed had it been half the price. I will say that the cleaning staff did a good job as our room was clean at least and it must be difficult to make a room like this clean. However the duvet cover was torn, the carpet was worn, the paintwork chipped and flaking, bathroom very basic. The whole thing needs...

"Liked because, being a single woman there, the staff were friendly and helpful, the property was clean and the food was good, and I felt safe."

"Nice traditional Pub with rooms located in a nice green area with some good walking trails to the Trundle (definitely worth it)... the food was great, and the breakfast was filling - staff were friendly and helpful"

"Very clean, service was fantastic, food was delicious, will be returning"

"Beautiful country pub type hotel. Quaintand very tastefully presented. Lovely room, comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. If i have any negative it is minor. The windows were not double glazed and neded a bit of paint. Otherwise excellent"

"The room was very clean Bed was good but could feel the springs a bit, although comfortable enough to sleep on The food was excellent especially the Sausage and Mash and the Steak and Ale Pie, good portion sizes, very friendly staff."

"Nice enough - the room was ok but quite dated, no tv and could do with a redecorate. But nice location and limited choice in Godalming"

"Lovely room next to the beautiful pub. Gorgeous location not far from Farnham town. Would definitely go back"
