Log Cabin on the Canal of the Indian River between Burt Lake and Mullet Lake!

This beautiful cabin is rented with pride! Cabin is clean and updated with
new carpeting and new furniture on a private, peaceful street. Fully
furnished, two bedroom, one bathroom. Sleeps (6). Can sleep (8) with our
La-Z-Boy sleeper sofa. Appliances (including washer and dryer),
linens, kitchenware ... everything you need to make your vacation
comfortable and convenient. The cabin also has a new gas fireplace, an
attached deck with propane bbq grille, a community fire pit with wooden
swing, picnic table and chairs. Be sure to take advantage or our 10% discount for stays or seven nights or more!

From the INCLUDED dock on the property, go one direction to access Mullet
Lake and the other direction to access Burt Lake! Also, there is a public
boat launch conveniently located just a few blocks away.

Enjoy the sandy bottom inland waterway lakes with over 10,000 acres of
enjoyable boating, swimming, tubing, and fishing. Nearby lakes and rivers
to swim, canoe, kayak or just sit by the shore and relax! Also near
several state parks and beaches.

Close to downtown Indian River, Cheboygan, Petoskey, Bay Harbor, Harbor
Springs, Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island for all kinds of different
activities.

Great little log cabin on the inland water way. We brought our boat and used the dock space available right in front of cottage. Scott went above and beyond and brought us extra fenders to use at the dock. He was an excellent host and close by if you need anything.

Clean, cute cabin

We stayed for 3 nights with friends. It was a cute, clean place to stay on the river. I would definitely recommend. The only negative was the parking. The driveway is shared with the neighbor. Only one car allowed in the driveway and one across the street. Both are strictly enforced. There was not really enough space to park our boat trailer for our 22 ft pontoon. We had to unhook it and even then, the space was tight. The owner was super nice and apologetic. We had a great time on the river both days.

Wish we could of stayed longer

We needed a place to stay for one night and I’m so happy we came across the perfect little cabin for the six of us. We had a lot of fun jumping over the little creek, playing baseball as a family in the yard, swinging on the beautiful wooden swings, playing games, and getting cozy with a movie, popcorn and S’Mores.

GREAT CABIN & LOCATION

We had a great stay at the log cabin. It was a perfect location, we brought fishing pedal kayaks that were perfect for traveling up and down the river between the lakes. The cabin is very cute, clean and equipped with everything you could need. The fireplace was nice too! We would highly recommend and plan to come back again.

Fantastic!

We had a wonderful time at your cabin! Spotless and packed with everything we could possibly need. Was a bit chilly for a couple days so thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace. We caught some fish and were able to use the fish cleaning shack. Tell Liam we looked high and low for dinosaurs but had no sightings. We'll try again when we visit your cabin next time.! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Everything was perfect. We have a small family of 4, the bunk beds were great for the kids- but could also sleep an adult. The cabin is small, but has all the necessities. Loved having an outdoor space to sit on the deck and watch boats on the river. The provided dock space is a game changer- our 23’ boat docked there with ease and it made loading / unloading for the day much simpler- the Landings boat launch down the road was also very easy and had no issues. The property has a small stream running through that the kids loved playing in and it just added to the relaxing atmosphere. All in all, wonderful!

Northern Michigan peaceful

It was wonderful and relaxing! We even received a welcome bag full of goodies. The place was immaculate. It was cute and charming with a nice view of the inland waterway. And a little bubbling stream going right through the property. And we like the fact that we could keep our boat right out front on the dock. We will definitely rent this charming log home again!

Great location for access to Mullett lake

This was our 2nd stay and enjoyed as much as the 1st one. The weather was not the best with Gale warnings on the water. This location provides great shelter for your boat so it doesn't get beat up on a dock in the middle of the lake. The fireplace was great after a cold day on the lake. The cabin is great Thanks for another great stay

We absolutely love staying at this property. It's so clean, great location, and the owner is wonderful to work with. We bring our 20' boat and dock it out front and can be to either downtown Indian River or Mullet lake in 15 minutes via boat. Don't hesitate to stay here!! It's the perfect up north experience.

Great property

House was very clean, and as described in the listing. The home was charming, nicely decorated, and cozy. The air mattress on the couch was also pretty comfy, a nice bonus. The boat dock was also a bonus, close to the house and easy in and out. The couple neighbors we saw were very friendly. The community space was nice and well maintained. The property was conveniently located, and perfect for boating on Burt and Mullett. We really enjoyed our stay with friends and will likely return.

4th of July

We celebrated 4th of July at this property and had a wonderful stay. The location was absolutely perfect for a boat to travel to both Burt and Mullett Lake. The house had everything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed the beautiful porch and views the most.
