"The room was nice, view's are spectacular. However the hotel itself is tired needs updating even just a lick of pain, new flooring etc would work. Beautiful walks and grounds. Staff were lovely and friendly. Food was ok nothing special but not expensive. The pictures in the website wasn't a true representation of the hotel as I said needs a good update and clean. The bath in our room needs replacing asap I'd say. However everything else was good"

"Great cottage, all facilities are present and working. You do need to be careful if you're sleeping in the attic. One of the bars from the retractable attic ladder can be an obstacle."

"We were just there for one night, but Colin was most helpful in making us reservations for dinner at the local pub and showing us a great paved path to walk to the village in five minutes. This home was well stocked and clean and would have been comfortable for a longer stay."
