"The hotel had construction of a new hotel next door. No mention of this was on the listing on the website at time of booking. The construction has been going the whole of 2025. On arrival at the hotel I was placed in a room facing the construction. Returning to reception to complain I was given another room. That room was slightly quieter from the main construction noise. However the bath was damaged with pealing paint that had been badly over painted. The construction noise could be heard...

"I had a lovely time at the hotel on a B&B basis..The room was big and clean and tidied every day. The pool area was excellent with lots of beds a great pool. I had a few evening meals and the food was ok with a good chance. All the the staff were very professional and very friendly. It was near the end of the season and quiet so there wasn't any activities either during the day or evening. I would certainly visit again."

"There waa no remote to control the air con unit or the tv The room smelt of cigarettes. When you don't smoke it isn't a nice smell. The room was clean and we had clean towls, We didn't use the kitchen area. The rooms are a really nice size. Just needs updating. Better locks on the doors, Also there is no bottled water in the room. When it states a boftle of water on arrival. "

"Stayed here before and came back for a short break. So a return speaks volumes. Food is always fine and plenty of choice Generally staff are all great and happy to help you. Some don’t greet you though but the manners of most the guests is my biggest issue. Ignorant guests with no manners at all. Just because you’re on holiday doesn’t mean you have to act respectfully!!!!
