The view was fantastic! We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching dolphins and surfers. We were minutes from stepping out to the water. It was perfect for our family.

Trip for Rest

The condo was beautifully decorated, and the location was excellent. We had no issues while there, and the vacation was very relaxing. Our only constructive criticisms would be that the living room furniture was not comfortable at all, and we would’ve appreciated instructions on using the television/cable tv box. We will book again!

Great location

great location. Walk across a bridge to get to the beach. Sat on balcony from our bedroom and enjoyed the view of the beach and the water. Enjoyed listening to the waves at night when everyone was off the beach.

This property has a great view and easy access to the beach. We loved the included daily beach chairs. Kitchen included lots of dishes and cooking pans and utensils. A few things that weren't perfect: 1) we walked around in the condo barefoot for half a day and the bottoms of our feet were black! We went to Wal-mart and bought a fancy swiffer and cleaned the floors. This should have been done prior to our arrival. It made us question the cleanliness of the bath mats. 2) The only covered parking is apparently reserved, and no one told us this. After we learned this, the only parking was uncovered spaces that were extremely tight to get into and out of.

Beautiful property

Overall, we had a very positive experience at this location. The proximity to the beach was just what we were looking for and everything was as described in the posting. We did have a disappointing experience because for the four days we were there, there was construction occurring right next to the building and below our balcony for a new public beach access. It was constant between 9am and 5pm- circular saws, impact drills, etc. It made it very difficult to enjoy ourselves while at the property. Thank you.

The Perfect Family Vacation

We absolutely loved our vacation in Fort Walton! Brooks and Shorey was great to deal with, quick to respond on any questions or concerns.. the room view was absolutely stunning! Everything was nice and clean. I would definitely stay again

Good property

We were originally supposed to stay at another property by Brooks and Shorey, but that property was under construction, so they offered us this one for the same price. It definitely was not comparable. The first thing we noticed was the rug in the living area was stained, making it look dirty, even though I feel sure it was vacuumed. The sofa in the living area was also stained and hard as a rock. There was only one other place to sit in the living are besides table chairs or bar stools and that wasn’t much better. The master bed was comfortable, but the furniture in both bedrooms was old and stained. Looked liked furniture that had been used and used and used. After a long day of driving, we just wanted a glass of wine, only to find no corkscrew. I understand the last guest could have taken it, but that is something we expect in a rental. All of the appliances worked, toilet and shower worked fine, but it was all outdated. The place needs a good facelift. It was fine for a few days, but we won’t be renting here again. Hopefully, the other property will be available next time we visit okaloosa island. We’re definitely going back there

Perfect view

The view is great. Location is nice. Beach is great. The only complaint would be the parking is tight or you are on an incline. Would definitely stay here again. Close enough to Destin but away from all busyness and you can relax.

Great location

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The condo is spacious, updated, and in a great location. The property manager was wonderful to work with. We were not pleased with the level of cleanliness, but that's really our only complaint.

Another great vacation

This is the 5th year my sister and I have stayed in Ft Walton. Every time we find a condo we love, and try to re-rent the following year, the owner has sold and taken off rental market. I hope that's not the case with this condo because we would definitely rent again next year. Very comfortable, very clean, 2nd floor was perfect for sight seeing off balcony. We had no complaints - with exception of Hurricane Ida. Couple things for those who read review. Only as an FYI, not in any way a complaint. There is no blow dryer or beach towels. And there is no extra beach chairs. Of course we had beach service, but if you wanted to sit on the beach after 5:00 or had a guest, there's no extra chair at condo. The coffee pot takes regular filters, not pods, and there were filters there.
