We've stayed at this resort before and it's a great room. Similar to previous rooms with the exception of stairs to go to the roof. The stairs are nice, but not as impressive as the larger PH with hot tub and all. We didn't stay up there, but that's because we went to my brother's room and went to his roof. So it is nice if you like to look out at night. The bed was great and I complained about the bed from my previous stay at this resort (different room). I wasn't in pain when I slept. They communicated super well and I appreciated everything about them. Really great stay and look forward to coming back.

The location of the property was great close to the pier, but there are hardly any directions on how to get to places Within the complex. To get to the beach from our condo, it was quite a haul. Noise from the pool, lazy river area was very loud and it was difficult to leave the doors open because of it, otherwise it was beautiful.

Softball Nationals

Condo was great! Very clean. Only kitchen issue I saw was to maybe stick a cookie sheet? Bunk bathroom had a broken toilet seat upon arrival. It was not an issue. Lots of rain and wind the week we stayed. We had a lot of water run in under the front door. We used towels to keep it dry. Just FYI….others in our group said they had to do the same in their condo. Also, my daughter accidentally brought home two wash clothes and a hand towel. We will pay for those. Overall great condo, beautiful view and we could come back. Thank you Emily Boles

Summer 2023

We have stayed at Destin West in the past and have always had a fun time. We enjoyed watching the fireworks from our rooftop balcony and also being able to grill. Our unit was everything we expected and very easy to check in and out Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Overall we had a great experience. Great room, incredible location. The only thing we didn’t appreciate was being pushed to feel like we had to leave early due to the housekeeper wanting to come before our scheduled departure time.

Great Property

We loved the property. Everything was as described. The condo was beautiful, clean, and organized. The location is great. You can walk to restaurants, the pier, and family entertainment. We have been coming to Okalossa Island for 15+ years. This was the first time at this property but we will definitely be back.

Paradise with a view

The 360 view from the rooftop terrace was stunning. The location was close to everything. The property manager was friendly and responsive. The beach cart had everything we needed.

Location, views, and features!

Our family of 5 had a great stay at Pelican PH-02! This was our first trip to Destin and we spent a LOT of time researching places to stay. I’ll include all of the details to hopefully help others: Resort/ Location: - With kids the bay side is the place to be, easy access to lazy river that we used daily. Lazy river and pool on the bayside were very clean and well maintained. Plenty of tubes and we never had to fight for a table or chairs. - Parking was easy and we always found a covered spot. - Resort is close to grocery, shopping, and restaurants. Rockin Tacos and Crab Trap are walking distance across the sky bridge and were a hit. - Area here not as congested as downtown Destin. We went downtown a few times, but the traffic there was pretty bad. PH-02 Unit: - Top floor pent house had beautiful evening views and the kids loved it. The grill was clean and easy to use. Two chairs on top were comfortable but one needed replaced. - Plenty of cooking utensils and supplies in the kitchen, very well stocked for cooking. - Great space, the bonus room with bunks was perfect for our two boys with the second bath right off of there. - Pull out couch was clean and fine for a teenager to sleep on. - Sheets and towels were bleached white and very clean - Floors were obviously mopped but there was still a black residue that got on our feet the first night from them. They leave plenty of cleaning supplies so I just wiped the floors good with cleaner and paper towels real well the first day and we were fine from there. - Tables and chairs on porch comfortable and they provide a TON of beach supplies. Two great beach chairs, wagon (needs replaced soon one wheel is dragging), and an umbrella plus boogie boards and toys for kids. - Walls we’re pretty beat up, lots of scuff marks on the bunks beds, and carpet in the family room pretty stained. Just needs a new coat of paint. - Large 58” Roku TV was awesome for a movie night when it was rainy. - Super clean fridge and all the paper and cleaning supplies you need to get started. - This unit has more privacy than some because the balcony is bumped out. Our in-laws were in the unit next door and we could see into their bedroom from our balcony table. Coastal Vibes was extremely responsive when we had questions. Within minutes you would hear back.. great company and would definitely use them again for future stays. Overall we had a great vacation. Would highly recommend and stay again!!

Could use some updates, and more comfortable furniture. The kitchen cabinets were way too full with No room for grocery items. Recommend darker curtains in master bedroom. Disappointed that outside painting occurred the entire time we were there.

Rekindling Romance

First trip without our children in 22 years & it couldn't have been any better! Easy check in, beautiful view, lots to do, & we encountered the frendliest people during our stay! Wish we could have stayed longer!! We will be back!

Great Location and Views

Destin West is a great location with many good restaurants, shopping and activities near by. It is an easy walk to the beach, and the pool area with the lazy river is a great alternative if you want to keep it closer to the condo. There a great views of the bay from the balcony and the gulf from the rooftop terrace. I would absolutely rent again as the process was easy and its a short 20 min trip from the airport.

Awesome views

We had a really great time staying here. The harbor view is amazing. It was great to sit outside and just watch the boats going by and people having fun at the pools and lazy river. The condo itself was pretty comfortable and had everything we needed. The beach was fairly close but we had to walk quite a distance to set our chairs up because we didn't want to pay $25-40 for beach service chairs. I was surprised that the beach service chairs took up so much space and wouldn't allow anyone to put chairs between them and the water. It was a VERY long walk to finally get to the area where personal beach chairs were allowed. I felt sort of mislead about this aspect of the rental and wished I had gone with a condo property that was a closer walk to the beach. My husband was not bothered by the walk and didn't think it was too bad though, and he was the one dragging the cart with the chairs and cooler through the sand. He actually liked the property so much that he wants to stay there again next year.

Family oriented

Location was great. Right in the middle of everything and short drive to destin. Pools and amenities were nice. Only complaint would be cleanliness. There was food on utensils put back in the drawers and pots and pans. The floors turned your feet black if you went barefoot. And the bracelets still had sand on them from previous guests. Hate to complain but for the price and rushing to get the next group of people in, expected a little more housekeeping. Overall we did have fun. Thanks for the memories.

Perfect location. Everything you need is super convenient. Lazy river is wonderful. Condominium was very neat and tidy with all of the comforts of home. Checking in was super easy.
