"Clean and updated rooms and beautiful waterfront view with a gorgeous boardwalk right on the beach. The customer service was excellent and they provided cookies, coffee, tea and hot cocoa in the lobby. The breakfast was great quality as well! This was also one of the only hotels I've been to where you can't smell the nauseating chlorine from the pool. I think they use a nice alternative to chlorine in the pool and hot tub, one which doesn't dry out skin, hair or affect asthma and burn eyes....

"This very quaint log cabin is exactly as you see in the pictures. It gets very cold in the fall/winter, so bring extra layers and blankets. The gas fire place can be a bit tricky to get the right temperature. There are plenty of kitchen utensils to use including pots, pans, and dishware. The cabin is located in a convenient location near the lakeshore, a small store, and plenty of trails. The cabin sits in a quiet and secluded neighborhood. Cell service was not great, but there was strong wi-fi."
