"The staff were great - friendly and welcoming. The room was on the small side but we were only there for one night, and it was clean and comfortable (and the view of the hills was lovely). There was a large fan provided, which was very welcome given the heatwave that was taking place that week, We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. A perfect place for an overnight in the Lakes."

"If you book a room with an outside hot tub double check you don’t get the Troutbeck room. The balcony is awful! Firstly, it is overlooked by a loft window above, so limited privacy and able to hear any conversations. On one side of the balcony there is two shipping containers stacked on top of each other, the other side an unkempt wall with a water feature attached. The water feature clearly hadn’t worked for sometime and was full of stagnant water. We raised this issue immediately but nothing...

"The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. I think Expedia have been misleading not detailing the facts about that particular...

"Room was on the roadside so no view and lower than the road so.o0eming the blinds meant people being able to see down into the room. Staff were friendly but their system for checking was odd, just a section at the end of the bar and online check in didn't work.so had to re do all the details. Breakfast system to order gluten free or vegetarian was to order at the bar not in the kitchen and then they brought it to you but you had to go back to the kitchen to get the rest of the meal. "Absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is lovely, the spa is amazing, definitely worth booking in for the full spa 3 hours, the food is good but to be honest it’s the staff that make it. Such a lovely bunch!"

"スタッフはとても良かったです。 1号室の狭い部屋を予約したのは自分達の責任ですが、あまりにも狭すぎました。また、塩素？のような香りが強すぎて、ずっと窓を開けていましたが、香りに敏感な者にとっては、苦痛でした。シャワー、洗面台の排水が悪く水が流れにくく溢れそうになるまで、水が上がってきました。また、上の階の騒音が酷く、歩く音、トイレの音、シャワーの音が全てすごく響きました。洗面所のドアも壊れて閉まらなくなり、一晩開けっぱなしでした。流石に耐えかねて翌朝相談したら部屋を変更してくださいました。ご対応ありがとうございました。 朝食は美味しく、スタッフのお2人の対応は、とても良かったです。"
