"Friendly helpful staff. Great beer and ale selections."

"Lovely little spot on the outskirts of Ambleside but easily walkable to downtown. Great cozy room and absolutely phenomenal hot breakfast. Hosts were responsive, helpful, and friendly. Can't recommend this enough for anyone passing through."

"Food was fantastic and the staff couldn’t be more attentive. First class"

"Excellent Breakfast and good location."

"The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. "I enjoyed my stay, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was large and comfortable and breakfast was good. The location is stunning, right on the lake near the ferry pier. I’d recommend staying here as a great base to explore the area"

"No SPA was available as was advertised."

There is also a Sauna. The resort also has a laundry room and dryer so I was able to do my laundry while on our stay. The...
