Your Payson adventure begins at this cabin. Nestled in a rural area and within walking distance of the East Verde River that runs through the community, this amazing area offers a relaxing retreat for guests. Rim Country Museum and Myra's Art Gallery are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Rancho Tonto Catch-A-Trout and Tonto Creek Fish Hatchery. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching. With a true rustic cabin feel, Trout Creek Cabin features a king bed, queen bed, and a sofa bed, there's plenty of space for everyone. Other essentials provided include heating, AC, WiFi, fireplace, washer/dryer and kitchen essentials. The bathroom is well-equipped with dual sinks and shower/tub combo. Even better than last time. Sorry about leaving the potatoes in the microwave. I highly recommend heading to Washington Park for a hike. You will not be disappointed.

Loved this cute cabin. Had a great time hiking nearby and the unwinding when we got back to the cabin. Nice porch to have coffee on in the morning and see the animals. Cute little community. Everyone we ran into was very friendly. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. Overall was a great time. Thank you!

4 generation annual mini-vacay. 74, 52, 21, 10 yr old and everyone enjoyed it! Very nice size, well maintained and furnished cabin, (easy on G-Ma) Short walk to creek, tranquil and peaceful, excellent for the younger guys to fish) The few people we did see were friendly. Were able to watch animals, squirrels, various birds, (entertaining and relaxing for the school teacher) Mostly stayed outside all day, walking, fishing, playing family games, good for everyone) Would definitely recommend this rental-only regret is that we didn't have more time!!

I have stayed at many vacation rentals over the years all over the US and this one was amazing. I came in to Phoenix for the first time to visit a close friend who lives locally and sheā€™s already talked about wanting to come back with her family. You can tell the owners care about their guest and really have taken the time to think about what might be helpful for their guests.

This is the second time I have stayed here in the past two years. It was just as wonderful this time as it was last time. The location is perfect, the local area is excellent, and the cabin/home is a place that anyone would enjoy. The property owners/managers are readily available if needed and quick to respond to the needs of the clients. I cannot think of any way it could be better. My adult daughter agrees. We go for the fly fishing, but just "hanging out" is awesome too. Our two dogs loved it. It is truly a comfortable cabin and great for weekends or week long getaways.

And ive been to a lot. From luxury to very rustic. This one felt extra homey, clean, and cozy. It has everything you need. We very much enjoyed the finishing at the nearby river. We honestly wish we couldve had stayed longer. Until next time? Thank you again!

Everything was clean and useful. Decorated beautifully and had all amenities you need for a mountain retreat. Pups loved the backyard and playground down the road. Great little community with lovely creek and trails.

I absolutely loved this property. The cabin was so well laid out and set up with all amenities that I needed. I went for hiking and vacation just myself and my dogs.It was very cozy and the porch was very comfortable as well. I spent a lot of time Outdoors on the property and in the neighborhood. The short walk past the Verde River to the local park was great. Many people were there with their children and dogs playing at that park. The location is far enough away to feel remote but close enough to town that anything you need is 15 minutes away. I did not want to leave and I look forward to the opportunity to go stay again.

We received very detailed instructions and directions to the property. This was crucial, as the cabin is in a great location but not super easy to find without these directions. The property was very clean, with everything included exactly as it appeared in the listing. Quiet and cool evenings in late March. Exactly what we wanted, away from town, traffic, etc. Thank you!!!

Cabin and location was beautiful! The only suggestion I have is outside furniture could have been cleaner. I suggest having a cover for your sectional! It was very dusty and didn't use! It was awesome overall.

This was our second time staying and we fell in love with this cabin again. Itā€™s the perfect spot to build a fire and relax. We found an incredible spot for dinner named Duzaā€™s. I have no idea how a place like this needed up in Payson, but it is outstanding. The yard at the cabin is perfect for our pups. We just love this for a quick getaway from the valley. We did some great hiking just down the road too. Thank you for having us again. We love this cabin!

Had a nice weekend getaway! They had everything you would ever need to enjoy the outdoors and we absolutely loved the cabin. Definitely want to go back!
