We had a wonderful week living the “Don’t Worry, Beach Happy” lifestyle. Very well stocked home and beautiful decor! Appreciated having two ensuite restrooms. Great location. We rented a golf cart for the week which was great for the kids but we also could have walked to pool and beach too! Furniture is nice and up to date. Allllll the beach toys, chairs, shade tent, etc was SO nice to have provided. If we had small kiddos, they would have liked all the toys! Thanks so much for sharing this home with us.

We had a great week in this incredible house! It is very spacious, well-appointed, comfortable and very clean. We especially enjoyed the screened portion of the back porch, where we took our morning coffee. It is a quick walk to the beach, and also very convenient to restaurants and shops.I just can’t say enough about how great this house is!

Coastal charm

I have just returned from staying a month at this property. It is a truly comfortable house with all the special touches that make it a home. The decorating style lets you know immediately that you are in the low country and near the ocean, yet they haven’t forgotten to include all the necessities that you need for your day-to-day life. Having coffee on the back porch in the morning listening to the birds was a daily activity, followed by my retreating to the front porch and a rocking chair in the evening to watch the sunset and to listen to the frogs in the nearby pond. Contact with the owners for a few questions that I had upon arriving were addressed immediately and to my satisfaction. The welcome basket filled with special treats was truly appreciated. Do not hesitate to rent this place if you are looking for a beautiful home located near the beach and other special places like Huntington Beach State Park and Brookgreen Gardens as well as the bike path. I suggest renting a golf cart to enjoy rides around the neighborhood and to the beach access point as well.

This house was absolutely perfect! It was super clean, comfortable, and beautiful! It’s great for guests of all ages! The hosts were great too. I would love to rent it again in the summer!

Another fantastic beach week

This was our third stay and it was just as great as the first! We love being close to the beach and having access to the community pool. And my daughter loves all the toys and how there are some new ones that appear every time! The only reason we’re not coming back next year is we have another family event.

Clean, lovely home

This is our second year staying at this property, and we had a wonderful time. The house is very clean, and it is clear that the owners put time into caring for it (the furniture, decor, etc.). We especially liked all the kids’ toys on the second floor landing. We look forward to returning next year!

Perfect Beach House

We had an amazing stay! The check-in process was super easy. We were delighted by the welcome snacks & felt at home right away. The home was very clean and we loved the beachy decor! We loved the spacious living and dining area too. It was the perfect place for all of us to gather and spend time together. The bedrooms are super comfy and allowed us to accommodate a large group without feeling cramped. We also loved spending time on the decks outside. Truly nothing bad to say! Both the owners and home are wonderful & we would 1000% book this property again!

Perfect family getaway

This was a week long vacation with our three adult "kids" and their significant others. A lovely residential neighborhood and an easy walk to the beach. The home was spotless and the kitchen well appointed. We enjoyed the porch off of the kitchen and spent a lot of time out there with coffee in the mornings. There were nice touches like a bar cart and a sweet snow cone machine for families with kids. (Also a great collection of games and toys for young kids. No adult games, but we brought our own) Everything from bedding to kitchen towels were fresh and new, and there were plenty of beach towels and low beach chairs to borrow. We had fun discovering turtles across the street, exploring the state park and the gorgeous botanical garden, doing some shopping and we were perfectly located for a day trip to Charleston. We have a senior dog and had to choose a place that would accommodate her. It was so helpful to find such a nice home that allowed us to bring her along. She enjoyed her vacation too! Our host was extremely helpful and responded to every question through the app very quickly. The ONLY negative was that the bunk bed room is really set up for kids and my 26 year old said the double bed mattress was a bit uncomfortable, but did not dampen the fun. We highly recommend and were sorry to have to leave!

Amazing visit for our entire family!

We stayed for a family get together and had a lovely time. We had three families of four ranging from infants to almost 50 as well as one dog and everyone fit comfortably, had plenty of space and all the comforts of home. The home was incredibly well stocked and we made GREAT use of the giant dining table for meals. The home was spotless, and the kids enjoyed all of the beach toys, the bike and the playroom in the upstairs hallway. Overall it was an incredible memory filled weekend and we would definitely return!

All the positive reviews are true!

We were lucky to get a last minute reservation at this home. The home is one of the best-stocked rentals we’ve ever stayed, especially the kitchen and beach equipment. Very comfortable beds, linens, and well-appointed common spaces. Our girls (aged 8 and 10) were thrilled with the toy area. We ended up renting a golf cart, which made trips back and forth to the beach convenient, but it’s not a bad walk (and the house has carts for beach chairs, etc). Laurie and Bruce were lovely! Highly recommend.
