This is a small one bedroom apartment just a few steps from the heart of the legendary Rue Cler pedestrian street made famous by its fresh food shops and Bistros. Here you are midway between the Invalides Museum (where Napoleon I is buried), the Quai Branly Museum for indigenous art and the Champs de Mars park with the Eiffel Tower. This is a high value residential district that is home to many diplomats, French government administrators, and academics from the nearby American University. It has easy access to transportation with the Ecole Militaire metro station and bus lines 69, 80, 28, and 920
The apartment which is on the first level ( second american ) of a XIX century building consists of a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer and a table for 2, a bedroom with a hotel quality queen size ( 160cm*200cm or 65*80 inches ) bed, closet, tv and desk and a small bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. kitchen and bedroom opens with 2 windows on a quiet and large courtyard planted with trees therefore is away from street noise. you can sleep with windows open. both windows close with wooden shutters.

The apartment comes with free WI-Fi and free cable TV .

The all-inclusive rental fee covers quality linens and towels.

The location is very convenient to tour Paris. It is a walking distance (less than or around five minutes) to eiffel tower, museum du quai branly, invalides, rodin museum) . It is a lovely walk (less than 30 minutes) or a short direct metro ride (less than 5 minutes) to the tuileries garden , louvre, champs elysees.

Please be aware of the contractual 40 euro for any check in before 1200pm and after 900pm. If the apartment is not rented the night before the 40 euro applies in all cases. If the apartment is rented the night before we do not charge the early check in, we can check you in starting 1000am, keep your luggage but ask you to leave the apartment until the cleaning is finished i.e., around 1200pm.

Great location

This is a charming little apartment in walkable distance (10 to 15 min) to several things as well as the mƩtro, which we used to go all over Paris on our main day there. We did use G7 app to take a taxi to & from the train station to save time & potential hassle. Communication with the manager was ok, could have been a little warmer. I felt a little like asking a question was an imposition. Also, be aware that this is a rental location which requires some self clean-up before leaving, which always makes me feel like I need to cross every t and dot every i ...It's fine, and I generally leave things clean & straight anyway, but it does make me a little nervous, which kind of spoils some of the vacation vibe. Otherwise, great! I would probably stay here again but my husband was not a big fan of the comfort level of the bed. Too squishy for him.

Quaint and cozy

Perfect Parisian experience, aCozy fit for my husband and I that came equipped with everything we needed. The shower was extremely small, requires a step up into it and literally wide enough to JUST fit my husband inside. The stairs are quite narrow and steep and suitable for the physically healthy and able. We loved it and hope to return again soon.

If checking in late, you will be charged an additional fee. This is not clearly stated in the listing and is only noted in a downloadable rules document, which (potentially due to a VRBO glitch) was not available to me until after I booked the rental. Be aware: if you're planning on arriving late, you will be greeted with a fee!Otherwise, the apartment was as-advertised. Don't ignore the small bathroom and make sure you're okay with it.

We arrived early in the morning I had to go through customs took a little bit longer. It was raining, and he complained that we were taking our time getting there. He literally argued rather than recognition of us renting from him. I actually apologized for the tardiness due to broken down train on the metro. We ended up walking and he hung up on me three times the place was OK we enjoyed ourselves, but he was very unpleasant. He also expected us to do the laundry that he left in the washer.He also had a blackeye from somebody obviously hard to get along with. Besides that, Paris was wonderful. We enjoyed the city.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION

Literally 50 yards from the Rue Cler, with the greatest cafes and restaurants and markets! Oh, the food! Wow! About 100 yards from the metro! 10 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower! The place itself was quaint, older, as one might imagine in a 300 year old building, comfortable, and everything worked! Olivier, the manager, was a most excellent host, who gave great counsel on how to use everything in the apartment, which included the keys, the washer/dryer combo, the TV and cable, the WiFi, etc! Very helpful! His communication with us was excellent from the moment we booked the VRBO, till we met at the passageway to the apartment, on time. The 7vin restaurant listed on the apartment instructions had amazing great food and atmosphere. We spent very little time in the apartment as we were always on the go for our one week dash through Paris! Shower was small but had great hot water and pressure. We were warm enough in the 3rd week of November when they had their 1st snow. Like I said, everything worked, and worked well. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect for an exploratory trip

We loved staying here. We felt a little bit like locals because of the apartmentā€™s location in a residential building and regularly seeing neighbors. This is not a luxury hotel and is neither decorated nor presented as such. It is a place to stay. The important parts were taken care of, and thatā€™s what mattered the most to us. The bed was exactly what we were hoping for after a long flight, the shower water was hot, there was a fridge, stove, and a washer/dryer combo, an ironing board and iron, and fresh towels. The location was perfect. It was removed from the touristy areas without being too far away, and it was a 3 minute walk from one of the nicest open market streets. There were plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, souvenir shops, clothing and shoe stores and basically whatever else a traveler might need. It was awesome and we will miss it. Thank you to the host for being so great!

Compact apartment in fabulous area. Olivier met us on arrival to show us where and how everything worked. Yes, the bathroom is small, but it serves the purpose and we never had a problem. The only concern was the noise from upstairs, especially in the middle of the night. Maybe a chat with the neighbour would have helped?.

Great location. Has all you need.

This apartment is in a great location close to Rue Cler where you have easy access to food, restaurants and convenience stores. Clean and tidy. It even has a washing machine/dryer. Easy walk to the Eiffel Tower, and I walked everywhere! Only one flight of stairs, which was important as I had knee surgery 6 months ago. Good communication with manager and easy to deal with. Bathroom was a bit small but itā€™s perfect for a weekā€™s stay.

Perfect location

This was a great property for our stay. My teenage daughter and I shared the bed. Small unit, but big enough for the two of us. You canā€™t beat the location. Proximity to Rue Cler and Ecole Militaire metro stop is perfect. Having a kitchen allowed us to have snacks, breakfast in the flat and a glass of wine at night for mom. Was also nice to pack clean clothes for the return home instead of dirty laundry. I would highly recommend this property and I wouldnā€™t hesitate to stay there again.

Good but a few tweaks could improve it

Pros: great location, comfortable bed (very soft) quiet and safe. Cons: super small bathroom and shower. Be prepared for this. Lovely artwork shown in pictures was missing (was that photoshopped in?). No washcloths and towels were dingy (we found some new ones in a drawer). Could use a new dish sponge for each tenant since dishes need handwashing. Itā€™s a very small place but the location is great. Near metro and great restaurants. We recommend La Terasse and Le Petit Cler. Good value as far as a place to stay near the Eiffel Tower and great neighborhood.
