place is superb
This place is absolutely beautiful and in perfect condition. Very clean as well. There were 2 couples and we really enjoyed it. If you bring kids it is perfectly laid out and Ken has baby gates everywhere. Ken is an extremely nice guy and will do anything to make your stay perfect. Can't say enough about Ken or his home. Will be back

Mike and his friends are the most friendly people. Very polite and extremely nice to talk to. They are the perfect guests. The cabin looked like no one was ever there. Will welcome them back anytime.

Exactly as described-perfect for a family get-together!
We loved it! Everything was spotless. Ample space for all of us to eat at the table (plus stools at the kitchen counter), very child-friendly. Enjoyed sitting on porch,kids could play on lawn, Mennonite family next door. Inviting interior with wood beds/dressers and comfortable seating, wall decor. Convenient location near Strasburg, easy parking. If you come Fri nite I recommend picking up food on the way in so you dont have to go out again.

Spring break long weekend
We all enjoyed our stay at Spring Acre Log Cabin. Our group included 4 adults and 6 kids between the ages of 1-14 years old, everyone loved the house and the outdoor space. It was comfortable, the safety gates on the steps were perfect for the smallest member of our party to roam without any concern. My 10 year old loves horses so she enjoyed all of the horse decor in the home. Plenty of activities to keep folks of all ages busy. The home is cozy, the property is beautiful and the location is excellent and convenient to access local attractions. Ken's is wonderful and he was easy and prompt with communcation. Definitely recommend this home, it was a great stay!

Quiet cabin in Amish Country
My family and friends recently stayed at the cabin and had a great time. Plenty of room for 3 families with many options in the house. Owner on site was very helpful and nice! Kids enjoyed feeding the Miniature horses and playing on the property. Satellite TV and no WIFI, Verizon was spotty in the area but we made due; there to get away! Would definitely rent again, was a great experience.

Christmas weekend
House was amazing….. very clean, lots of space to spread out, kitchen well stocked. We had a great time with our married children and grand children. Host was terrific…. Very accommodating and available for anything we needed. No internet…. I must have missed that in the write up. We did not miss it however

Great family gathering place
The spacious log cabin/ house was immaculate, well furnished and supplied! The game room was a great bonus! The owner was on site and very willing to help in any way needed. My family enjoyed hiking in the woods adjacent to the property. Highly recommended!

Amazing home
Our family has done many weekend events and this home was at the top of the list. It truly was a turnkey home with everything exactly where you would want it. The kitchen was set up for a large family, linens were spotless with plenty of extras. There are also lots of little touches throughout the house that you would find in your own home. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire place options throughout the property and the animals. It poured on Saturday but it just didn't matter as there was plenty of room to play games and enjoy ourselves inside. The only negative at all is that it is listed as a five bedroom and it's actually only has four bedroom spaces. We were able to make it work, as one of our adults wasn't able to come, but that could have been a real concern. Our hosts met us at the property, showed us everything and asked us to let them know if we needed anything. Great home, great experience

Perfection
Our family had the privilege of staying in Spring Acre Log Cabin, and we loved it! The home was spotlessly clean, well stocked, and beautiful! The location was perfect for our vacation/family reunion. Mr. Ken and Ms. Ruth are amazing hosts! They welcomed us immediately, and made us feel like they had always known us. Luxury Lancaster Log Cabin
This is, hands down, the nicest property we’ve ever rented. From the moment we parked our cars we were welcomed by Ken who was the perfect host. Three families fit so comfortably with room to spare. We were blown away by how immaculately clean the home was. We felt like the first guests to ever stay and Ken made us feel like family. We had two 20-month olds, a 5- and 10-year old and each kid found their own favorite feature of the house. The little ones absolutely loved the horses! Ken even let us feed them! I can’t say enough great things about this incredible home. We cannot wait to return next summer!

Rick and Harvey and their wives were the perfect guests. Ruthie and I throughly enjoyed talking with them. They enjoyed feeding the ponies as we stood and chatted. Would love to have them return anytime.

Great stay for large families
We booked this stay for ourselves, family and friends, because of the close proximity to Sight & Sounds. The house is spacious and beautiful and sits in a beautiful country setting. Ken and Ruthie were wonderful hosts and have thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out or to hang out together. We had a great time playing pool and air hockey, and we also spent alot of time enjoying the large porch. Their ponies are stinkin adorable:) We would definitely stay here again.

Our Stay at Spring Acre Log Cabin
The owners were so sweet and accommodating. Any issues (one ;-)) were dealt with immediately. The house and grounds are beautiful. Two fire pits, horses, quiet, and woodsy in the middle of Amish country and all the touristy things to do in the surrounding area. We could not get it all done.

Three generation family vacation
This cabin was so clean and neat and we found it very roomy for the five of us. I loved all the personal decorative items through out the house. We could easily have had another two people here with us, as was originally planned. My grandchildren loved picking raspberries and blackberries along the edge of the yard and down the lane. Patches and Beauty were sweet miniature horses and we enjoyed feeding them carrots. My daughter was the air hockey champ for the week and my son enjoyed the peace and quiet. It is nice to have the children and grandchildren all together for a week. The hosts live on the property and were easy to reach by phone to answer any questions. You can tell that there is a lot of love put into this house. Hopefully, my husband will be well enough to come with us on our next family vacation as he would have loved this place.

Very clean and well kept home in a beautiful place. Ken was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with him and meeting his ponies Beauty and Patches. The wifi didn’t work for us even after Ken tried to help, but we were on a friends trip for vacation so it wasn’t a big deal.

Large but cozy!
House was clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked. It was perfectly sized for 10 people and felt super cozy but not crowded. It was also a prime location and the owner was very helpful too. And seeing the mini horses every morning was an added bonus. Great stay!

Wonderful Location
This house is in a perfect location to see the Amish country of PA, Lancaster and Strasburg. We had such a nice time. The house was just a advertised. A wonderful spot in Paradise. Our 14 year old loved the Air Hockey and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Ken is a terrific host!

Great property indoors and out
Lovely, clean home, with excellent communication, and so much to do onsite - miniature ponies to see (the owner gave us carrots and let us feed them!), a downstairs game room with many options, outdoor games like croquet, and a large yard we took advantage of for wiffleball. We enjoyed the multiple outdoor spaces with plenty of varied seating and made s'mores in the giant fire pit. We'd happily stay again!

Girl’s Weekend!
What a great place to get together with friends! The cabin is just beautiful. Was very clean and had everything you need in the kitchen and bath. Ken met us upon arrival and showed us around the home. Relaxing on the deck was a favorite. We would definitely recommend and would rent again.

Great, relaxing and clean.
Great place to relax and hang out. The house was very clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils, pots, pans etc. We really enjoyed the front porch and the comfort and size of the common areas. Lancaster Luxury Part 2
Our family stayed in Ken and Ruth's home one year ago. We promised we would come back again because we absolutely LOVE this property. This trip we were going to Sight and Sound Theater, which is only 10 minutes away. Once again, Spring Acre Log Cabin, was the perfect place for our family to stay. The house has everything you need to make your stay amazing. After two visits, we feel like Ken and Ruth are family friends. We left making the same promise we made on our first visit. We will be back soon!

Perfect Christmas Cabin!
Our stay at this property couldn’t have been any better for a family Christmas gathering! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! The owners thought of everything to make our stay perfect! Beautiful Place
I have stayed in numerous VRBO properties over the years. This by far was the best one yet! The house was so cozy and beautifully decorated. The Christmas decorations were outstanding. The inside and outside grounds were clean and just so welcoming. The basement game room was a huge hit for the children and adults. The beds were comfortable. There was not one thing that we needed during our stay. The chocolate chip cookies waiting on the counter was such a nice treat. I would recommend this property to anyone going to the countryside of Lancaster, PA.

Lovely Time in Lancaster County!
Property was great! Clean and fully stocked with all the essentials. Ken was very welcoming and helpful. Location is lovely; close to attractions, but in the countryside surrounded by beautiful farmland. Would stay again.

Anne and her group were very respectful and pleasant to chat with. They were very respectful of our cabin and left it as they found it.

Wonderful!!
We had a great time at this place! Loved the house, being able to feed the horses, and so close to everything you needed to get to.

Louis and her family were the perfect guests. We enjoyed our conversations . The house was left very neat and clean.

Fall mini family getaway
I and my family were very happy with the accommodations that this property offered. Ken and Ruthie were very helpful and extremely nice. My grandchildren enjoyed feeding the horses and the homemade cookies were excellent. Will make this one of our favorite places to stay next time we come to PA.
