I wish Iād done more research on this unit before booking. I have stayed at various units throughout the Sunbird. Usually, I book with a private condo owner, but this time the unit I booked was through a a company called FunQuest.I will NEVER book with them again. Upon entering the unit, we noticed there was no way to lock the door from the inside. My 18 month old son was able to open the door and wander out. I immediately sent a message to the company because this was a major safety concern. Someone did come out and add a security lock/latch to the top left of the door. The door frame was falling off, so that didnāt help much. Through the VRBO app, they argued with me and said the lock worked even though the worker who came out agreed it didnāt. The A/C was not working properly and I reached out to the company again, but got no reply. We ended up having to go to Walmart to buy floor fans. The furniture in the pictures does not match the actual furniture. It looks like these people went to Goodwill and purchased random furniture, decorations, and kitchen items. The kitchen counters are made up of 3 different countertops and the paint in the bedroom is 2 different colors. The condo smells like must and mold. They do not care about the quality of the unit. It certainly needs some TLC!
