NEW POLICY EFFECTIVE 6/23/2021!
The Latitude 29 HOA implemented a parking fee beginning January 1. A parking fee of $50 will be added to all bookings. On June 23 the parking policy was amended. ONLY ONE VEHICLE IS ALLOWED ON PROPERTY PER UNIT. ANY UNAUTHORIZED VEHICLE WILL BE TOWED AT THE GUESTā€™S EXPENSE. C

Latitude 29 is a family oriented small beachfront complex located just steps from the white powder sand and beautiful emerald gulf waters. If you come to the beach for tranquility and relaxation, Unit 3 at Latitude 29 is an excellent choice. You will love the beauty and quietness of its location and the nearness to all Latitude 29 amenities.

Unit 3 is the only unit with two bedrooms. Well-known local architect Cary McWhorter designed the unit, which was completely restructured and reconfigured to create an open modern design and family oriented floor plan.

The ocean is your backyard and Unit 3 is located on ground walk out your sliding door to enjoy the beauty from your lanai or to sit at the sea wall. It is steps to the beach. A large covered grilling area is conveniently located nearby. Other amenities include a pool, kiddie pool, spa, or enjoying what is acclaimed ā€œthe best backyard on the beach.ā€ Everything is within easy reach from the condo.

CONDO HIGHLIGHTS
The contemporary designed kitchen features granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and an island cook top with stainless steel hood.

The living room area has a 42-inch flat screen TV, DVD player, new queen size sleeper sofa and chair, comfy recliner and custom drapes.

In the hallway is a seven-foot custom built-in desk/office area with power strip for your computer(s) and shelving for storage.

The Master Bedroom has a custom built king size platform bed and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has bunk beds and has an en-suite bathroom that is also accessible from the hallway. Mattresses in both bedrooms are topped with 4 lb. memory foam for comfort and are encased in high quality allergy/bug protection. Both rooms have flat screen TVs and DVD players.

No pets allowed. Cable and Wi-Fi are included.

    Well cared for property. Unit was perfect size for my family- husband and I and 3 small kids. Super convenient, few steps to the beach. Pool great, also has a baby pool! The owner communicates very well! Highly recommended!

    This property is fantastic because itā€™s on the beach! Itā€™s super convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. This unit is nice to have the bunkroom closed off as a separate room - which was perfect for our teenagers. Well-equipped and updated kitchen.

    We just finished our 17th year at this spot. Itā€™s convenient & family friendly & the ease of the location is top notch. However, now that Latitude 29 no longer has onsite management, the overall property appears in decline. There are only 2/3 of the chairs that used to be available for families to use near the pool & patio areas. The ones that are there all have broken straps & some were even taped! The grass has not been taken care of and there are bald spots in many places. The boardwalk areas where you rinse your feet are full of sand as you enter the pool area; hence getting sand in the pool. Those areas used to be hosed off multiple times a day when there was onsite management. Thereā€™s also an ant problem around the umbrella tables. There are little biting ants when youā€™re trying to sit and relax with your family. Again, that would not be an issue if there was onsite management. As far as the unit itself, itā€™s our favorite in the complex. The AC worked GREAT this year! The kitchen is pretty decently stocked with cooking items. However, the ice maker does not work AT ALL. And a mere 4 old school ice trays are all you have available for use which is unacceptable. The master bedroom bed is very comfortable which is a plus. However, with multiple light bulbs burned out in the master bedroom AND bathroom, itā€™s hard to see much less put on makeup. The master bathroom sink is also clogged. Will we return? YES! But please add onsite management back!

    Proximity to the beach is second to none. However, could use some refreshing. Resolution of the unit owners, on site, harassing renters needs to occur. Overall, great experience with a great group of friends.

    Property is well maintained and clean. The dryer was broken but we managed without it. Helen was quick to respond to questions and concerns. We would rent this unit again!

    First night we were there, knob broke off the dryer. There are no knobs on the washer (needle nose pliers hanging on wall to operate), ice maker made slithers of ice, one side of toaster not working, hot tub not working. This place needs an overhaul. Property mgr never responded to email (said it went to junk folder when she got my first one). Gave it a 2 because the AC worked great and location.

    While the beach was so easy to access and lots of fun, the condo was less than what it haws been in the past. We have stayed here for over 20 years, and little changes have made us reconsider other properties. Changes include that they only allow one car per unit and we had to take my adult son's car to a park and ride at WinnDixie for the week, not easy and not safe. Another change includes that the washer/dryer buttons were all off of the units and were not usable. The pool deck area and landscape look pitiful with no plants in beds, unpainted rails, and discolored walkways. It doesn't have to be perfect but it could be better maintained and appealing.

    Suggest owner replaces recliner. Very difficult to use. Also, needs spraying for insects. Found three. Not complaining just advising.

    Our family was so excited to visit here. We had gone here lots of times when we were kids and wanted to bring our families here as well. Things sure have changed. We went with a few other families that stayed in other condos and we all felt like we were being watched the entire time. We all felt like we couldnā€™t be ourselves. Loved how close we were to the beach. But next time we will find a spot that will let kids be kids.

    We love latitude 29 for the location and outdoor space. For that reason, the inside is not that important. However, unit 3, although nicely appointed, had a few maintenance issues. Toilet tissue holder that didnā€™t hold the roll. Loose towel bars. A dishwasher meant for an RV. A super long hallway. Limited seating space for meals and for watching tv. The second bedroom is a nice touch, but cramps the other spaces.
