NEIGHBORHOOD Located in the quiet & peaceful Vista Norte neighborhood in Palm Springs. Well groomed Mid-Century Modern and Spanish tile roof properties line the streets. Beautiful breeze most nights! And a clear starry sky every night! Everything you need is conveniently around the corner just a 5-minute walk from our home: Starbucks, Albertsons Supermarket, Stater Brothers Supermarket, Walgreens Pharmacy, World Gym, McDonalds, Subway, Taco Bell, Little Caesar's Pizza, Donuts, Gas Station, Mexican Restaurant (with fun bar), and a couple Nail Salons. And since you came for Palm Springs, the trendy downtown strip starts just a few blocks away. So many restaurants, shops, bars, and local events to enjoy. And the Palm Springs tram station is also nearby!
The space Enjoy this well-loved, bright and nicely updated home in the Vista Norte area of Palm Springs featuring breathtaking panoramic southwest vistas from the private pool and spa! Take a step into the contemporary ranch style house while still enjoying all the modern upgrades of home. Enter through the front door where you are welcomed to an inviting step-down sunken living room with vaulted ceilings, featuring a charming fireplace and luxurious dining area. The fully remodeled kitchen boasts brand new Alder wood custom cabinets, luxurious food-prep safe quartz counter tops, kitchen island with bar seating, and new stainless-steel appliances to make meal preparation super convenient. The living room offers a Smart TV (Amazon Fire) and plenty of seating on a luxurious sofa. And any downtime can be spent relaxing on the modern furnishings that overlook the pool. A covered patio just outside the dining room sliding glass doors allows for extended indoor/outdoor dining and socializing, while being guarded by the many fruit tress and an overlook of the sparkling pool/spa and landscaped yard. While outdoors, help yourself to any fruits from the trees depending on the season: apples, pomegranates, ruby red grapefruit, minneolas, Valencia oranges, mandarin oranges, cumquats, loquats, cuties, pomelos, lemons & limes! There's even a grapevine with delicious red grapes!
This home is just north of the Palm Springs International Airport and sits in a great location to experience the best of this desert city. Heading into the hustle and bustle of downtown Palm Springs will be a breeze, as it is just 2 miles from your front door. For a bit of hiking, wake up early and beat the heat at Tahquitz Canyon four miles away. Not to mention, the shopping, golfing, and restaurants in town will fill afternoons with fun and tasty bites!
**THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE** Guest access ENTERTAINMENT: *Smart TV in the Living Room where you can access Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBOmax, Hulu, Disney+, and more! Guests have to log into their personal streaming account. Please don’t forget to log out of your account at the end of your stay *Wireless Internet Service is provided throughout the house. *Stream music from Spotify directly to the Smart TV in the living room (connected to our living room sound system and concealed subwoofer). Please stay within the noise ordinance to avoid fines. Music may not be heard at the property lines at any time of the day (that includes music, TV, talk, coming from inside of the home). If your neighbors can hear music, you are in violation of the City Ordinance.
KITCHEN AND DINING: *Fully equipped kitchen for your convenience: Refrigerator, Gas Stove, Gas Oven, Microwave, Dishwasher, Coffee Maker, Toaster, Blender, Dishes and Utensils *Indoor dining table seats 6.
UTILITIES: *Central Heating and A/C controlled by Ecobee Thermostat *Guests won’t be able to set the AC thermostat below 74F (cooling) since this would freeze and damage the system. *Washer and Dryer available in the utility room by the kitchen for your convenience
POOL & SPA: *Private Pool (heating for extra fee) *Hot Tub *Pool is not heated in the Summer months. *Please, watch your children closely in the pool, and swim at your own risk.

NO outside music is allowed at vacation rental homes at any time. NO smoking allowed inside or outside the house. NO glass outside.

PARKING: *3 parking spaces available for guests in the front Driveway (Depending on car size, the driveway is able to fit 2-3 cars). NO Garage Access. *Never block any driveway or street access. *Street parking NOT permitted Other things to note Home Truths: *The pool can get dirty very quickly at times due to desert weather and occasional high winds. We'll do our best to get the pool company out there as soon as possible. *The pool is not very deep and is not meant for diving. Please, watch your children closely in the pool, and swim at your own risk. Never let children unattended in the pool area. *It can be very windy in the area, umbrellas MUST be removed from stands when not in use or when windy. If umbrellas are broken due to being knocked over from wind damage, guests will be charged a replacement fee (approximately $100 to replace). *Cleaning supplies can be in places that are easily accessed by children (usually stored under sinks in kitchen and bathrooms). Please take caution. *Backyard is close to neighbors so staying within noise ordinance is very important! *The home is near the airport path so noise can be heard at times, but usually only when the occasional military jets takes off from the Palm Springs international airport. Kinda cool actually! *There is a SimpliSafe front door camera, and a SimpliSafe yard entrance camera at the west side entrance to the backyard (mounted by a solar panel).
Any fines, citations or penalties imposed against us for actions triggering a violation of the City of Palm Springs will be deducted from the security deposit. Such examples can be found in our House Rules.
In the City of Palm Springs, Occupant must be at least 25 years of age or older. By continuing with this reservation, Occupant represents that they are older than 25 years of age and further warrants that other occupants are either over the age of 25 or are accompanied by an adult guardian.
NOISE: Palm Springs has strict ordinances that govern vacation rentals. In particular, we want you to note that "NO outside music is allowed at vacation rental homes." I know, we all love our tunes out by the pool, but it's just not allowed by law. Music may not be heard at the property lines at any time of the day (that includes music coming from inside the home). Please abide by this rule so you don't get fined by the police, and so we don't lose our vacation rental permit.
Pool Heating and Utilities: *Pool heating cost $65/day ($200 min per stay). Please inquire about extra fees if wishing to book long stays of 28+ nights or more *Pool heating is always limited to 82F so that the equipment is not impacted by overuse *Pool is not heated during the Summer months (June-August) but it’s usually 80+ naturally *Guests won’t be able to set the central AC thermostat below 74F (cooling) since this would freeze and damage the system. *Any tampering with or overriding of our settings will result in a complete loss of the amenity and security deposit forfeiture; *Hosts will not be able to provide any refunds for occasional non-working pool heating that occur during your stay but we will do our best to have it solved in a timely manner.
Guests will be charged the TOT and TBID taxes.
