"We stayed in this hotel for three days while we explored Kandy. The hotel itself is set in a beautiful serene. There is a high level of attention to detail with the rooms, everything has been carefully considered. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is outside of the city, the hotel is more than happy to arrange transport to and from the centre at short notice. The food is cooked to order and tasted delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel."
"When you arrive the door opens to a magnificent view of the pool and the river behind it. The staff was great, the food was probably our favorite during the first part of our trip. Would highly recommend this place. Make sure to visit the Temple of the Tooth and try out some local fruits!"
"We loved our stay at this resort. The drive up was pretty intense as it’s out the way, so we didn’t spend loads of time in the accommodation but wow the views were incredible morning & evening looking out to the river!!
Food was nice, staff very friendly. They had dogs on site which were very friendly also.

"This hotel ia gem 💎....very nice hotel with a swimming pool and cascade. Very clean and well decorated. It s located well outside Kandy and which was great after the visit of Kandy town with all the traffic and noises. Coming back to the hotel was so relaxing . The room is quite big and very clean. "Gorgeous rooms and beautiful owners. Kumari & Joseph are so accomodating. The bus stops right in front of the path to the hotel, followed by an uphill stretch to reach the summit. So it's an easy & cheaper access to the city by bus. Highly recommended place to stay. "
"It is my second stay at Galavilla. I love this place so much. I was happy that the hotel is well developt. I feel as a home. The morning view form the room is realy breathtaking. The hotel is open around 5 years but still everythings is as new.I never see it in another hotels in Sri Lanka. I can recomend everyone who like nature and relax."

"Wir haben uns in diesem Hotel rundum wohlgefühlt! Alles war unglaublich sauber und die Aussicht war einfach atemberaubend. Das Hotel liegt etwa 20 Minuten mit dem Tuk-Tuk von Kandy entfernt, aber genau das hat uns besonders gefallen – kein Smog, sondern pure Ruhe und Natur.
An zwei Abenden haben wir hier auch zu Abend gegessen und das war eine hervorragende Entscheidung. Die Hausherrin kocht selbst und das Essen war wirklich köstlich – frisch, liebevoll zubereitet und voller authentischer...
