"One of the cleanest rooms I’ve ever stayed in as a frequent traveler (normally staying with big name hotels for business). Staff members were friendly. It was a very short, and mostly easy, walk to the beach via private access. Not sure about breakfast, the fitness room, or the pools as I did not use those amenities. "

"I was skeptical when I read the Sanderling was ditching the coast guard orange umbrellas and cushions that were symbolic of the resort; however, I was pleasantly surprised how easy on the eyes the new colors are. It was a good decision. The new carpets, paint, color coordinations, they are all home runs. The Sanderling is the crown jewel of the Outerbanks.
