It's very small, so I wouldn't recommend for kids, but perfect for adults. The pull out couch wasn't very comfortable, so we ended up sharing the bed. I'd definitely recommend for your stay at the outer banks."

"This is an amazing apartment!! We decided to travel last minute and everything from the booking process to communication with the owner was easy. While we did not use all the Barrier Island amenities because it’s off season (and we own another home nearby), I can tell you they are convenient and great for families. We adore the sound side view and the sunsets were incredible. If you are looking for an alternative to renting a whole house, this is your best option! A note if you have any mobility...

We stayed with our dog, two cats, turtle, and snake while our attic was being encapsulated. Nice neighborhood where we could walk the dog. Just a short stroll to see the sunrise."
