"A nice stay with a good breakfast. Didn't park my car in the hotel carpark due to £5 a day charge ( this is new). Easily parked over the road free. Hotel could do with a carpet upgrade (worn and dirty) all in all it was a nice place to stay, good clean rooms and friendly staff "

"I absolutely loved staying in this hotel. The location on the quay side is beautiful. I was fortunate to have a river view. I had never been to Newcastle before but finding the hotel and parking was so easy. I loved that the car park had spaces for the hotel and it is so close to the hotel and such good value for money too. The hotel decor is beautiful and I was very impressed. "We’ve stayed at this hotel many times. It’s a great location with good facilities. Staff are always very welcoming a check-in. Rooms are well equipped with a fridge in the room. Breakfast service was outstanding with very friendly and checking everything was ok. Great selections and plenty still available 30 mins before finishing. Highly recommend this hotel"

"Lovely surroundings. Our room was cozy. Nicely decorated but carpet could have benefited from a shampoo. En suite very small. Shower small if you are not very thin! Window seat only sitting option which was ok if not closing curtains Lovely food in the evening. Breakfast average and not great selection for continental. All in all though we would definitely return but would book larger room"
