Enjoyable Stay

When first arrived to room, we had toilet running issue, but when maintenance was called, they came immediately and fixed. The stay was enjoyable with a great ocean view and nice amenities.

Underwhelming

Iā€™ll start by saying we travel a lot and VRBO is our go to for finding a living space. We have stayed at the best of the best and a few places that need some work. This is one of the latter. Upon checking in, i noticed layers of paint flaking off corners. Not a big deal, but itā€™s a small detail. I went into the bathroom to find a light bulb burned out and the fixture covered in rust. Again, not a huge deal but the stay is in the details. I went into the kitchen and ran my hand across the counter top, as I always do because we prep food on the counter topā€¦. Bread crumbs and debris. A couple sticky spotsā€¦. My wife looks at the rug on the floor and notices itā€™s covered in debris and has not been vacuumed. Iā€™d even say the room hadnā€™t been cleaned in some time. I went into our bedroom to look for bed bugs, this is something I check at every hotel. (Pull up the corner of the mattress and check the seams.) By the edge of the bed, just under the edge I find a urinal. A hospital bottle urinal. At this point I am done. So I call the manager. We had already unloaded the carts. After 30 minutes we were moved to a different floor and a different condo. The management was very responsive and we appreciate that, however, where are the checks and balances with the cleaning crews? Upon getting to our second room, we find the same thing. Rusted fixtures, layers upon layers of paint. This might be ok for the college crowd, but come on. Letā€™s do better.

Great place for a getaway located directly on the beach.Everything was nice except the shower: It did not drain very well. We called the property and asked to get it fixed. No one showed upā€¦ quite disappointing.

Amazing!

My husband and I haven't been to the beach in over 20+ years and our stay was amazing! The only "knock" I have is that the bathroom could have been cleaner - specifically the shower (there was hair all in it when we arrived). Other than this one thing, it was perfect!!! We plan on visiting yearly :)

This unit was OK, but not by any means a 9/10ā€¦ the bed was very uncomfortable for both my husband and myself. The water/ice dispenser on the fridge had mold all over it. The oven eyes were lopsided and was difficult to cook evenly on. Needs much updated throughout. We would not book again.

Great anniversary trip

The unit was as expected It was clean and nicely decorated. It was smaller than some of the units we have stayef in. Perfect for a couple Wish the weather was nicer but hopefully have yhe chance to. return. For Nice unit. Clean and comfortable. Perfect size for a couple. We had a wonderful week. Eish yhe westher had been better but hopefully. We can return and experience the n beautiful weather Orange beach is known for. Million dollar view but run down condo

My husband and I booked this trip for his 60th birthday. When we arrived to the condo the pull out couch was broken. The cushions were off the couches. The rooms looked like they were not cleaned. The carpets were stained and dirty. The kitchen cabinets were broken. We called the management service and they arrived immediately to assist. We requested another co do but they had 100% vacancy. They did have the cleaning service clean again. Unfortunately this did not remove the stains on the carpet and a stained comforter. We were very pleased with the gulf from t view and took pleasure in wAtchig the waves on the Gulf. The outdoor furniture was old and falling apart. I would not stay in this condo again. I probably will not use this company in the future due to the fact that they rent out condos without inspecting them.

nice getaway

We really enjoyed staying here. Room was perfect for the two of us. We only had one problem and that was that the tub was holding water. Reported to the front desk and it was fixed the next morning. Great service! Loved walking across the street to the Ruby Slipper for breakfast and Wolfbay for dinner. We also went to Live Bait for lunch. This condo is in a great location.

Nice but could be cleaner

The unit looked as it did on the site and itā€™s nicely decorated. Great location! However, thereā€™s mildew under the edge of the shower where the tub meets the walls. Also in the kitchen there were utensils in the drawers that were not clean. They had food on them and the dishwasher had food in the bottom of the utensil tray and overall smelled bad. The fridge was clean but the freezer smelled strongly of fish. The kitchen was nicely stocked with drink ware. The couch had a few stains on the cushions and the floor was in need of a good sweeping and mopping. Overall itā€™s a nice unit and a good floor height and the experience was decent. The umbrella rental attendants were phenomenally nice! We would stay again but hope just a bit more attention to detail will be given to some areas. Thanks!

Long weekend getaway

Love the unit and area! Condo was not cleaned well. Floors dirty, trash behind furniture & childā€™s dirty underpants in floor beside washer! Wall plugs were very loose in LR, which could be dangerous! Weā€™d for sure go again no matter!!!
