Tradewinds #304 offers 180-degree views of the beach from its private, furnished balcony. This Orange Beach condo is a group-friendly rental throughout the year and welcomes snowbirds for monthly stays starting in October. Guests at this family-friendly condo will enjoy the full, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable living and dining area, and various on-site amenities including a shared indoor/outdoor pool and grilling area. There are now smart TV's in all of the bedrooms (2024)!

For family fun, go-karts, bumper boats, mini-golf, and much more, cross Perdido Beach Boulevard to visit Adventure Island. Just three miles up the coast, discover restaurants, shops, and a full-service marina at SanRoc Cay Marina. And for outdoor adventures, set off on the Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail, located just two miles west. Welcome to Tradewinds! We hope you enjoy your stay with us!

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We booked this listing based off of our baseball team staying at the Tradewinds. Vacasa was the only option to book with as a property management company at the time. I grew nervous reading the most recent reviews (after we already booked and it was too late to cancel for a refund). After reaching out to vacasa they assured me all complaints within those reviews were handled. Upon arrival we knew better. Immediately we smelled mold and felt tons of moisture in the unit. We checked the air filter and it probably hasn’t been changed in years. We paid for a new one after having zero response from vacasa. We additionally had to run air purifiers the whole time. We found mold within the sheet rock in both bathrooms and closets and along the ceilings as well. All furnishings have been changed from original photos but are still extremely dingy and old and gross. The entire unit needs major renovations. The tiles are broken all in the living area making it dangerous to walk barefoot. The rugs are the most digustingly dirty thing in the entire place. I reached out to vacasa numerous times throughout our status (16 to be exact). Not once did we get any response from the local agency they promised would reach out. Do NOT rent this unit or any through vacasa if you have any concerns with the unit you may be booking. Vrbo additionally was zero help in this situation but they aren’t the property management company. I will say Tradewinds complex was great itself

Vacasa was non responsive to any messages or calls. Room is outdated to the point of being dingy. Furniture outside is brand new though. Found a full baby bottle by the couch, shades were missing from the blinds in the living room, so people could see in all night and day. Hot water ran out quick, and there was mold along with peeling wallpaper everywhere. Proximity to the beach was excellent and the pool came in handy during the double red flag days. Security staff were friendly and helpful.

Booking was not an issue. Email received the day prior to arrival to confirm my identity seemed looked like spam & not professionally prepared. Asking for my DOB. I’ve rented lots of. Condos & cabins and this was the worst honestly. Also, the unit NEEDS new furniture for balcony, new beds, & cleaner living room furniture.

The property was good and secure. Could use better carts for getting your belongings up to room. Room needed a screen on the patio door. Could replace the patio furniture. The blinds was not usable in the living room on the patio door. Check out text came late, after we left at 8:30, didn’t answer until later due to driving.

The location of this property is great, right on the beach overlooking the pool area and ocean. After that it goes downhill. The unit itself leaves much to be desired. The floor tiles are cracking, couches are filthy, cushions on outdoor seating are coming apart, the stuffing was flying around the balcony. Beds are VERY uncomfortable, shower curtains have disgusting brown mold on them. The outdoor furniture is literally coming apart, kept getting caught on the unraveling of the chairs and table. The complex is NOT what is pictured on the page. The complex is not well maintained. When we arrived trash was overflowing from all the trash cans located around the elevators, stair well was full of trash. Needed a fresh coat of paint. The security guy, Mike, swindled us out of $20 for parking pass even though I told him it was included in our rental fee. When we found the parking passes in the unit in a back corner of the kitchen I asked for our money back and he refused. We spent most of our time at the beach, which was very nice. If we ever return to Orange Beach we will not be staying at Tradewinds.

Master bath shower curtain had mildew on it and outside cushions need to be replaced. We weren’t given the code to get inside the pool area, we had to ask someone. Other than that it was a great experience

Our stay was comfortable. Things were well stocked however, bathroom shower curtains were covered with mold along the lower half of the curtains. Cushions for outdoor furniture are torn and ragged. Very dated decor and wear and tear on the rooms. Great location though. Would not rent again for the money.

We, my husband and two young daughters, stayed in the condo in June. It was a perfect size for our with a beautiful view of the beach. The unit was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The building was pretty full but it was relatively quiet in the unit. We had easy access to the beach. There is also a stairway right next to the unit on the beach access side of the building so we could easily go from the unit to the beach without having to get in the elevator. That was a plus for us as our stay was during COVID. I would rent this unit again. It was perfect for our long weekend. The building is also walking distance to shopping, restaurants & grocery stores.

I have never taken time to complain or write a bad review. I WOULD NOT stay at Tradewinds again. Here are the positives: Amazing view, comfortable master bed, present security guard walking around property, felt safe here. 2-3 minute walk down to beach area. Condo was pretty clean. 3 extra blankets in 2 bedroom closet. Negatives: Older very run down property. This place is super basic - no ice or vending machines. All blinds in 3 rooms were broken or falling down. Furniture is old and dated. Screen completely ripped out of balcony door sliding doors. No shower curtain liner in master shower - just cotton curtain that stayed wet and flooded the bathroom the whole time during our stay. Bath towels are tiny and barely fit around an adult. Definitely bring your own. ALL outlets are loose and therefore nothing stays plugged in or charged. Closets had 75 junky hangers and pillows in them. No freebies here - bring toilet paper (a few rolls were supplied), coffee filters, paper towels (1 roll supplied). No spatulas to cook with. The corridors and elevators reeked of marijuana. My sisters family stayed here in another unit that was covered in black mold in each room. Overall the building needs to be gutted. Other than this, the view here is spectacular!

I could have enjoyed my stay a lot more if we had been given the key code for the swimming pool. I even called Kaiser Real Estates office and asked for help on Saturday but the lady questioned me as if I didn't know what I was talking about. however that was the only way to get into the outside restrooms through the pool gate or outside door both of which had a "coded key pad" she even called me back and said she spoke with the property manager and assured me there was not a code needed. Finally as I watched people go in and out using that keypad I asked a nice lady staying there and she GLADLY ASSISTED ME! So someone somewhere needs to really do some advising with there" associates" and "property managers" so ALL guest will have correct information when checking in. We have rented at ALOT of properties and have never ran into any issues and hope to never again!!!!! The room itself was ok nothing fancy.
