"We stayed in a double room with a city view for one night. The room was compact but very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the hot, made-to-order breakfast. Compared to other pricey hotels and bed-and-breakfast options in the old town, Nine Vines, just a few minutes’ drive away, offers excellent value for the price. As for suggestions, it would be helpful to add towel hangers in the washroom and to improve the quality of the pillows."

"We like the historic nature of this hotel but feel that it needs some TLC. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We ate breakfast in the dining room once. The food was fine, but the floor was dirty under tables and under the sideboard. It had been swept by the evening meal which was very good. The chairs in the dining room look as if they need to be refurbished. Our large room had a door to a balcony which we enjoyed each day. The bed was comfortable but we found the room too warm,...
