One air conditioning window unit in living/kitchen area with ceiling fans in both bedrooms. Weather was not hot and humid during our visit so this was not an issue. "The Writer's Studio is very a comfortable and tucked away little cottage. I was pleased with all the, privacy while still being in easy proximity to the bustle of woodstock. It was clean and had everything I needed for my visit. At night remember to look at the stars. "

"This wonderful place in the nature had the comfort and the soul. My little family of 3 really enjoyed our stay. We saw the hosts and actually had a chance to speak with them - a lovely extremely friendly couple. And we were so grateful that we did because they had the best recommendation on the restaurant which was just perfect. As I said this place has a soul and character. We felt like home."

"This house was a little piece of heaven tucked away on the Esopus Creek. The house provided 2 paddleboards and 2 kayaks, all of which we used.At first glance, the creek is not very inviting because of the algae, but when you get to the middle of the creek, it is very clear.There is also a hot tub, ping pong table and lots of games.The house was nicely decorated and plenty of room for 10 of us.
