If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

I would say over all, 3.5 - 4 stars. We enjoyed the stay. Here is my take on the good and the not so good:Thank you for the welcome basket/things to use until we were able to get to the store. That was sweet. The driveway was shoveled which was also nice. The views are definitely great. There was plenty of space for everyone. The hot water was a plenty. The fireplaces were great to have and kept the house pretty warm. There was soap and shampoo in the bathrooms, that’s always appreciated. However, things that stood out that weren’t so great: There are full beds downstairs instead of queens that were advertised - neither really allow for two people to sleep together.Front entry is not conducive to everyone removing their shoes as requested in the winter. Suggest a nice big mat to avoid getting the floors wet.Furniture - downstairs couch has pockets that you sink into and it’s very uncomfortable. Especially for our one guest who had to sleep on it. There’s a huge stain on the upstairs bed - found after stripping the sheets. Some of the sliders cannot be unlocked/opened. Not a huge deal but some of your rugs are not secure, one of us nearly slipped and fell a couple of times downstairs. There were conflicting messages for check out on the app VS a book we found in the house VS the automated email I received on our last night. I went with the automated email.

The home is BEAUTIFUL and the view is amazing! However, the property needs a "refresh". The cushions on the outside furniture are faded and should probably be replaced every year. The soffets are starting to rot from water damage and someone should really go to the property and blow the leaves on the deck and steps prior to having guests arrive. The grill propane was empty, so we couldn't grill OR use the front firepit while we were there. There were several lake floats just lying around the shoreline. The front motion sensor light did come on at night but, there is no way to illuminate the front of the property from the inside. No spotlight only a front porch light that isn't strong enough to see outside past the immediate door area. The Guest book didn't mention recycling glass bottles so we just put our wine and beer bottles in with the regular trash. Hope that's alright. The closet light in the main floor primary, not sure how to turn it on. The main floor fire place is not allowed to be operated? That would have been lovely, since it was cold outside. NONE of the items mentioned affected our time there and we enjoyed our stay. Perhaps there could have been a "suggestions" page provided in your guest book. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

Selected this location for the view and it did not disappoint! A few things to note if you are staying here, there is no yard/grass if you are traveling with a pet. Wooded area along driveway works for potty breaks but if your pet needs grass this may not be a good fit. Motion lights are very sensitive so if you are a light sleeper you may want a mask. Oven did not seem to get to temperature so watch closely if using.

The wi fi didn’t work the network and password information was incorrect we called and put in a ticket but never heard back from anyone Also the fire pit didn’t work so again we called and put in a ticket but the issue wasn’t resolved we never heard back from anyone

The house itself was very nice. The outside decks, seating areas, sliding doors were disgustingly dirty. Had to walk through cobweb to get to the deck. The steepness of the property - driveway and steps to the dock are not properly represented in the add. Parking as well. We were to have a 4 PM check in - cleaners were still there when we arrived. Another issues with parking. There was no cell phone service at all. WIFI was spotty the entire time. There were 2 other signals, but we did not have passwords for them. Need better instructions on light switches and showers. Lower-level shower closest to the steps did not work. Guest services were not helpful - told me sorry for the inconvenience and put in a ticket - never heard from them again.

First time with VRBO

This was my first time staying with VRBO. It was a million dollar view. There were just a few minor things that were mentioned before on other reviews that were not taken care of such as the hole in the master bedroom door, the smell of sewage in the kitchen the garbage disposal area, and also the stairs down to the dock area didn't seem too stable. I would have liked to have seen the fountain on but I do realize it's earlier in the year. The owners may want to change the curtains because not all of them fully cover the bedroom area in the master bedroom. But I must say the house was lovely.

Beautiful Lake House

The inside of the house was very clean and very tastefully decorated. The view was out of this world! The one thing that we would like to note, is that prior guests left large dog poop on the balcony that was not cleaned up by the staff. In addition, there was a bag of dog poop left in front of the home. Everything else was excellent and we still appreciate it being dog-friendly.

Lovely Stay

My sister, daughter and I were in wow mode from the moment we walked in the door. The pictures on line did not do justice to the "Million Dollar View" description. The place was very clean, inviting, accommodating and beautiful! Appliances were very updated and snacks and treats were also left on the counter for us. Owner thought of everything to make this as pleasant as it was for us. We will definitely return again. Thank you

Has Potential….

This property has potential, but as so many have already stated there is a lack of responsibility by owners to make any changes. The inside is clean and comfortable, however the windows are filthy and outside grounds need much attention and deck is filthy. One bed has full mattress on a queen box spring making it very uncomfortable and easy to roll off. There are no curtains on some of the bedroom windows, and the ones that have curtains are so thin and light they do not keep the light out from the constant motion light going on and off ALL NIGHT. Many lights inside do not work- especially downstairs. We had to use our phone light to navigate to the bedroom when coming downstairs at night. The downstairs shower leaks all over the place making a slippery mess! During our second day, the ring security alarm and smoke detectors started going off. We were unable to silence them so called Vacassa management - they didn’t have the code and were also unable to silence it. It forced us to bring everyone outside- including my handicapped father and severely handicapped autistic stepbrother, who was freaking out by the noice. An hour later a maintenance person finally showed up and removed the alarms. Now we had no smoke or fire alarms upstairs. About 1am that night an alarm was going off, now downstairs. It was a low battery alarm . We got up and removed that battery. Half hour later another alarm. Took us 20 min to find the alarm on shelf. No effort to compensate was off

Great View and Location

House had a great view! Directly on the water. Good location close to all the main attractions. Kitchen was very spacious too. Areas of opportunity: The WiFi internet connection wasn’t good. Also it felt like every time we were outside we were being watched & recorded by the Ring cameras. Overall, we had a good experience.

A Breathtaking View

We absolutely loved this beautiful home & the view was breathtaking! The steep driveway not so much but that would not keep us from staying there again. It was perfect for our dogs with the fenced/gated area for them. Wish we could afford this place in the spring/summer!! Loved it all!!!

Wasted Potential

The view is amazing (after we cleaned the glass), the home is nicely laid out, the furniture is mostly comfortable, and the location to the sights in the area is fantastic. The owner has not taken care to correct many issues mentioned in previous reviews. And they aren't things that would require a lot of effort and money - but it seems consideration for their guests is not the highest priority. The bed with the wrong sized box spring is still there. To me, this is egregious as it makes the bed nearly impossible to sleep in without one person rolling off. It's not that difficult to buy a queen sized box spring for a queen sized bed. The wifi is atrocious and shouldn't be listed as an amenity. The pictures are misleading as they have now locked off the game room on the lower floor. I expect owners to have private spaces but a locked up fridge, closet, and two bedrooms is overkill. The door in the master bedroom has a broken lock to the deck and won't open. Cleanliness is the real issue. We found rat droppings under the kitchen sink, in the laundry room and in the bedroom with no curtains (oh yeah, both bedrooms on the lower floor were blinded throughout the night by motion sensor flood lights triggered by squirrels). The cleaning service was quick to respond but didn't actually clean the mess up. There were still droppings behind after they 'cleaned'. The whole home is obviously just spot cleaned between guests. Definitely wasted potential because it could be stunning.

minor issues

1) Downstair shower leaks at hinge side of door was unable to use had to use the 2nd shower . 2) Clogged dryer vent completely clogged -- we put a load of towels in the Dryer one day and left to go to the store -- when returned - items were still damp - that is when we found the vent issue and cat hair could not be completely removed . 3) Cat hair was everywhere - on Couch both upstairs and down and in the bed --- 4) on the upper deck there is a board that needs replacement ( to avoid future issues ) 5) Trask was not picked up since last tenant ALL are Minor the home is absolutely awesome - and we are planning on coming back next year - Thanks you
