"We had a great time at the Red Star cabin for an adults only getaway for my birthday. Place is very well appointed and has everything you would need, even cool extra touches like a French press set up which was fun to try and little extras in the fridge and pantry for you to enjoy. Very organized and tidy as well! Bed was comfortable and ladder was sturdy and safe to get in the loft if you’re worried about that life my husband was. We are tall people and didn’t have issues in the loft....

"The property is as it appears in the photos and is very nice. Great backyard that is fenced and we were able to keep our 2 dogs with us. A general comment is that the neighborhood you drive through to get to the property is a little rough. Lots of dogs running around that aren't on leash, so I wouldn't recommend taking your dog on a long walk. "Enjoyed our stay right in the water front. If you take your boat, the boat launch that is not far from the house will not allow you to turn around to launch your boat. Owner of the house was super helpful and very sweet! She called to make sure we made it ok and called the day we left to thank us for staying. "The good: the location was very peaceful and in a nice neighborhood. There was a convenience store close by and it is not too far from grocery stores. Plenty of cooking pots & pans in the kitchen.
