However simple features like a hot water faucet was not totally functional, in room air unit with a hose connection to the window that wasn’t fastened with a large enough opening for a bird to enter. No room darkening shades. Small items. One star is for being totally unaccommodating when we asked to leave the car in the lot till 3:00. The person I spoke with about this gave me an automated response. They could have been flexible, but no?"

"Everything was amazing. From the staff to the conditions of the room, great choice if you want something reasonable around downtown Pittsburgh. I only found that the breakfast could have a little more options, but it was still good."

"Very near to the David Lawrence Convention center, allow anyone that is going for conferences to get there by foot. Hotel have a bit of a "dark" theme (noticed on room lights and key cards for the room). Besides that bed is very comfortable, and the lobby often have a lot of people drinking and interacting (think there was a wedding going on during my stay)."

"The pool is either very dirty or stained black. Housekeeping took dropping off towels one morning as an excuse to not clean the room at all that day. Room service takes the phone off the hook and doesn't answer. Go downstairs and order the food yourself, they tell you to come back downstairs 9 floors and fetch it yourself or wait. The AC unit was old, was in disrepair and froze over at 3AM. Hotel front desk the next day would not even radio to find out if the repairs had been made and told my...

"Breakfast was fine, about what you'd expect we shared here for the proximity to PNC Park, the area is great, lots of bars and restraunts, couldn't ask for a better area to stay in. "

"The flashing intermittent light all night resulted in very little sleep the second night of our stay."

"Very difficult to het in and out of if you're driving in. Neat old building but definitely needs a better maintenance plan. Rooms are a little beat up. No blackout curtains and portable AC in the room. Mini fridge barley works. Water pressure in shower is the best I've had in a hotel so that's a plus. Close to strip district."
