"The lodge is conveniently located less than 10 mins outside of downtown Helen. It’s positioned on a secluded hillside just off the main 2 lane road. The building and decor does feel a bit outdated but adds to the charm. We stayed in the “Family Suite” which was a split level room. It was great having a separate sleeping area from the kids. I’m 6’4 and had to really bend over to get up the stairs in our suite but wasn’t a huge deal for a few days. We were a bit disappointed they didn’t...

"Our tv wasn’t working properly but the manager was extremely helpful. He had to replace the tv. It didn’t take up that much time. He was pleasant and apologetic. I would recommend this hotel. There are several restaurants within walking distance and Walmart is nearby. It is in a quiet location."

He also charged me more than what expedia said the room was going to be , and I didn't see much of him or the staff for the next twenty four hour spot we were there Rooms were fair to good, but there was no reason for the anger that was between him and Expedia.
