"Wonderful location, just beautiful surroundings! Wild turkeys even came to visit. Gatehouse was very clean and comfortable. Pat, the host, was great. The private beach really made it a success for us. "

"i really enjoyed my stay here! it’s tucked away on a quiet street but close to everything you would want to do or eat in Riverhead. it was a plus having all the animals in the backyard and seeing how they are lovingly cared for by Agena. it doesn’t smell bad at all which shows how clean she keeps her home. the host thought of everything you would need so i didn’t need to ask for anything. there were plenty of towels and toiletries to use & a wonderful list of attractions and places to eat. i...

"Gorgeous place, very comfortable and tons of things to walk to! It’s situated right behind the Long Island Aquarium which has a huge treehouse play area (pay required) that is almost in the front “yard” and there are kayak rentals around the corner. Our kids (10,8,5) had a blast!"

"Attended a wedding and stayed here with my family. Check in was easy and the house is nice with a big backyard. The stairs to the bedroom are steep, if you're older. But, otherwise, a great place to stay."
