"We had a wonderful stay at the Squirrel! It was our home away from home while we explored Oakhurst and the nearby towns, ran the Yosemite Half Marathon (my incredible partner's first half!), and hiked the beautiful waterfalls at Yosemite National Park. The home is peaceful and quiet, great location in town (but still feels secluded), and we highly recommend it to anyone who wants a perfect basecamp for adventuring Bass Lake, Yosemite, and the other wonderful places nearby. "

"The house was everything we could have hoped for and more! Honestly, just perfect across the board. Hands down the best home we have ever had the opportunity to stay. Phenomenal communication with the Host. The coffee and wine upon arrival was a great touch! We loved the live oak tree in the back yard and the many species of birds and the deer walking nearby too! "Pet friendly spacious RV with beautiful night sky. Close to many attractions and towns. Closest restaurant is about 5 min and then Oakhurst the bigger town is about 10-15 min and Yosemite is about 2h, but the drive there is beautiful. We went to the El Portal side, not through the valley. Great place for out pups too, but you can’t leave them unattended, which will limit your park access. You can only go to the floor with dogs, many trails won’t let you take them. For dogs, there is only a small...

"The property was as advertised, well appointed with special features, and extremely comfortable. Enjoyed a nice view of the sun set in the evening and the sun rise in the morning. The surrounding area has plenty of restaurants and supplies making this a perfect gateway to Yosemite, our ultimate destination. While our visit was brief, we would gladly stay here again when in the area."
